Found this place and glad we did had a really nice dinner here, staff were very good and the food and wine was excellent. The place had a nice atmosphere too. Not too pricey either. Would recommend

Hi Denia, thank you very much for your kind words! We really appreciate it. We hope to see you very soon again.
This small restaurant is fantastic for grilled food. We had the peppers for a starter, garlic soup and t-bone. All were exceptional flavors. Loved the flavored salts. Try the Pierola wine. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially for this quality.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we are glad that you had a good experience with us. We look forward to seeing you again!
The food was very very good. The quality top notch. We have travelled and lived extensively in Spain and Europe in general. Local Spanish food the best. Excellent service. We had 1. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms and Spanish ham. 2. Roasted local peppers. 3. Mixed...sautéed vegetables with Spanish ham (menestra de verduras).More

Hi Philet, we truly thank you for taking the time to write a review about our food. We are very happy to see that you had a good experience. We look forward to seeing you again! Many Thanks
This is a very good asador with local food of very good quality. Croquetas and lamb chops are excellent. Service is very friendly. However, the wine list is the real standout, and has many boutique Rioja wines that you will just not find anywhere else....So if you want to try real wines that are not simply the big standard labels, then this is the place.More

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time. We are very proud to offer an amazing long list of the best Rioja wines. We are looking forward to welcoming you again very soon!
During my Camino to Santiago I slept one night in Logrono and wanted to get a quality dinner. I found this little restaurant in the city center and had a very good meal. Owner is super friendly and had a nice chat, meat is high...end quality and they have also a very good wine list. One of the best meals in all my CaminoMore

Having been forced to stay in Logroño for longer than planned due to our old classic car breaking down, we had all the Tapas we wanted and were wandering around looking for a proper restaurant by way of a change and found this place We...were delighted with our choice having just walked in off the street Serving mostly local cuisine it felt like real home cooking and all the better for that. Lots of locals eat here which tells you something good is on offer My wife started with garlic soup, so subtle you would never know it was garlic but full of other deep complex flavours and I had the home made shredded warm peppers roasted then served in a sweet and mild vinaigrette, scrummy ! For main we both hade cod Rioja style, in a rich tomato sauce, the cod was cooked to perfection, soft and translucent in the middle it just slipped down They have a great wine selection and we chose a barrel fermented white Valenciso Rioja which was perfect We finished with a small plate of cheese and the bill only came to €75 for two so excellent value for money Mine host spoke perfect English and was very friendly and accommodating Well recommended when you fancy something other than Tapas and this is in the same area of town so in easy walking distance of most town centre hotelsMore

Come here if you want a good quality traditional La Rioja menu. There is an open BBQ at the back of the restaurant and all your dishes are freshly made in the BBQ. We shared a variety of a la carte choices, including a mixed...grill. Our waiter pointed out that some of the food might not be to our liking (ie. Pig face and trotters) and happily substituted other meats (Chorizo and Salchichon). Our only issue with this restaurant was that there were no real vegetables on offer. Yes, there was capsicum and potatoes but I would have liked some vegetable matter to complement all the meat. I know that this is typical of Riojan meals in restaurants but it’s a personal preference. The staff were helpful and attentive although the fact that we didn’t speak much Spanish seemed to frighten off a couple of the waiters. This wasn’t a real problem as we were looked after very well.More

Came here as part of a golf trip. We like to find the best local cuisine and this was upto the task . The bbq style cooking well executed and an interesting alternative when dining out each night for a long weekend. So if you...want a break from Tapas, this is ideal. The beef ribeye was the favourite mains.More

SUMMARY: Inadequate and slow service, unremarkable menu, forgettable premises and high prices. PROS: Location and cleanness. CONS: Service, menu, language skills and price. Located near the "Laurel street," the well-known tapas street of the city and close to the local food market this restaurant offers...local food including the typical "chuletitas de cordero a la brasa" (barbequed baby lamb chops). In our last visit to the city, we decided to have lunch at this place before leaving town. To make sure we have a table, on time, available, before noon we went to the restaurant and requested the table. Later on the day, at the time of the reservation, we arrived at the restaurant expecting a fast and good service. When we enter the premises, we found a clean environment with over 20 tables available. In fact, only another table with small children was being used. Funny enough, and even if all other tables were empty, and the little children in the only occupied table were quite noisy, we were seated at the closest table to them.... That signaled a no so happy meal for us. The waitress came with the menus, nothing exceptional about them except the prices, higher than expected for a place such as this, and left us deciding about our food choices. She did not offer us any tip regarding the food except for the "chuletitas a la brasa," an especially of the restaurant (and of over 50% of the stake houses in the region.) Our waitress came after a few, like 1, minutes, and we informed her that we were worried about the timing since we had to take a bus and we have little time, and we were informed we didn't need to worry about it. We ended up asking for asparaguses and chuletitas. The asparaguses were barely ok, considering that La Rioja is famous for its asparaguses. The baby lamb rims were eatable but not sure about the "baby" part in the name. In fact, I'm quite sure they were not. Even if for the first half of our lunch we were one of the only two tables being served, being the other one was the one of the noisy children, the service was slow. Rhi became dramatic when a big group came in since it became evident that the waitresses preferred to serve the big group, that was consuming bottles and bottles of wine, that our small one. This poor service, together with the unappreciated desert menu made us avoid to have deserts and run to leave the place to catch our bus. As stated before, the service was at best inadequate and slow. The menu unremarkable, the premisses forgettable., and the prices high, in the 40 to 50 euros per person range. Additionally, no language skills at all so if you don't speak Spanish, just don't go. Therefore, if you need a place for lunch, a different restaurant may be better. However, the site is no so bad that must be avoided at all cost.More
