Fantastic restaurant. Great food. He. Eat in Spain. Our waiter, Mercedes, was the BEST. She recommended dishes and both times we visited had a wonderful experience. Highly highly recommend.

My rating is based on more elaborated dishes such as the empanada. We came here with my husband and we ordered steamed mussels (my favorite but requieres basically fresh mussels to be good), pimientos de padrón (fried padrón peppers) and empanada gallega. The peppers and...More

This has to be the fanciest restaurant in Santiago. Apparently Pope Benedict dined here--and that is saying something. I was with my kids and it was a tad too high end for them. Great wine list with easy to find location.

Went there to get a bowl of the famous fish soup. Mine was not hot, yellowish in colour, and looked like it was not freshly made. Disappointing. The cover charge was € 2.25 included a basket of bread, the soup was € 8.5.

A nicely-decorated formal restaurant (linen table cloths etc.) We arrived early (9:00) and found ourselves in mixed tables of US and French tourist groups. Later, Spanish families drifted in, plus a huge group of people in period costumes. In place of bread rolls, each diner...More
