Came here twice during one week stay in Santiago, ordered salad, steamed muscles and fried octopus, a little bit salty, but very tasty, everything is fresh, you can taste the freshness. Fried peppers is also nice. Recommend.

This place fills fast, luckily, we got there as soon as they opened. It is not uncommon to see a local guy ordering some food as the prices are definitely within reason. Step a few meters away toward the street and try some of the...More

We arrived late at Santiago de Compostela and decided to dine in a restaurant close to our hotel. And we went to Maria Castaña. As appetizer, cured cheese from Galicia. Then, rice seafood. Wines: Rias Baixas, Albariño and Monterrei Godello. Everything was fine and delicious....More

I don't think Santiago is a great place for restaurants generally - too many one time tourists passing through for that. However this place gets quite good reviews and we had some good food here. I particularly liked the rice with seafood. Cheese and salsa...More
