Nice traditoonal restaurant. The food was very poor. We were the only guest at that moment. The fish was not fresh (from the freezer). We ordered half a liter wine ( shure no problem) but had to pay a whole bottle.

The first night we ate here we were with our Camino "family" - tastes were wide and varied. Our waitstaff was attentive, friendly and very prompt. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection with many choices both for a light fare and full meal. We ended up eating here 2 more times as there were so many different choices we... More

We visited this authentic galician restaurant in a very busy afternoon. Place had many tourists inside which at the beggining was scaring me away, however the service was very good so we decided to stay. Great choice. The galician octopus was very nice and the albariño wine as well. Tortilla española was also very good.

My return visit was long overdue and well worthwhile. Local food, wine and service excellent. Reasonably priced including a superior wine variety.

After sitting at a "dirty" table for 15 minutes I eventually managed to attract the attention of one of the waiters who all seemed intent on avoiding work, eventually he actually bothered clearing the table. When we were served I ordered drinks and we were told that we had to order food, we were going to anyway but the rudeness... More

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst walking around the historic part of the city. All the tables outside were occupied so we ventured inside. Lots of photographs on the walls (didn't recognise anyone, other than the owner) Food was delicious and staff friendly.

I sat down at this restaurant by accident as the chairs of this restaurant were placed right next to the place I actually wished to eat. I told the waiter I will have the fish platter and pointed to the table next to me. Instead of telling me I sat at the wrong restaurant he continued to get me to... More

Like most people who come to Camilo's, I suspect, we were looking around all the many pavement restaurants in the cathedral area. Having circled a few times we opted for this one - not based on anything in particular. We ended up being seated inside which was fine by us because we had more room. We chatted with the friendly... Arrived in Santiago mid-evening after a long drive and just wanted to eat. Case Camilo was the first place that we came across and my wife just took a quick look at the menu and we walked in. She chose wisely. The food was excellent - delicious salad, doughy bread and superb seafood & fish with a good wine selection.... More
