Excellent restaurant where you can eat at all hours, quality very good price, in a beautiful place dedicated to Bruce Sprinsteeng and with impeccable service! To repeat on more than one occasion!

I woke up excited to try this place! It was my b'day weekend only to find The River Cafe disappointing. Lack of service from the staff and menu was rather boring. But good location at the foot of the river and the cathedral at sight. And Springsteen music was a plus

Right in front of the Church and so close to the river this cafe is offering relaxing views and mnake seating there a joy. There is long menu offering food, snacks, ice creams, drinks and of course some great tapas. It also close to the parkings so this is the place for a quick coffee.

This is a popular cafe in a great location in the old city close to the cathedral. It's always busy and was a lovely place to eat outside and soak up the atmosphere!

We came to The River for the gluten-free options, but were elated to find that the café name is not inspired by the nearby river, but by the 1980 double-album from Bruce Springsteen! The fan-decor and music made me feel like home, and the food was pretty good too. They offer an English menu, but I still wasn’t sure what... More

Having sat here in what can only be described as lovely surroundings we were shocked when we received our bill!!! Aperol Spritz that we have drunk around Europe this year was totally over priced at 6.30 euros! Gin and tonic priced the same but not clear on drinks menu and not given choice as to the brand of gin! Would... More

Lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee or cold drink in the sunshine. Gets very busy due to location, but a lovely spot.

We are a restaurant, with many dishes for coeliacs, cafeteria and pub, all in one, located in the Barri Vell of Girona, just below the beautiful church of Sant Feliu! We offer you a warm family atmosphere, inspired by Bruce Springsteen and the culture of Native Americans, amazing and unique. We have different environments: tables, bar and the famous Chester sofas, and a fantastic terrace, to enjoy the River at any time of the day. Pets are also welcome
