The tapas are not that expensive, but once you see what happens in the kitchen, the only thing you want is to throw up. The chef spitted in the garbage where there was a paper towel, and he used it to clean the kitchen surface. Another thing is that he mixed two unfinished dishes of paella to serve it to... More

I visited here with 2 friends for lunch and even though I was absolutely starving and would have eaten anything this place was nothing to rave about. Could have cooked the food myself at home (I had chicken breast fries and salad). The tapas did look good but I couldn't try them as I'm gluten intolerant

We ate as a family of 5 looking forward to some tapas. We were disappointed. Most dishes basically consisted of lots of lettuce padding a very meagre helping of food (see photo). We had to move on to another eatery to make amends. Avoid this place.

There are a lot of tapas to choose from, but be careful to choose the drink. Maybe it is wiser to pay before eating in order to see the real price. We ordered "beer" and it came bigger and much more expensive.

Bar is full of different pinchos for every taste! Just order drinks and get plates from the staff and start eating. Very cheap, pinchos were 1€ a piece and beer only 1,5 euros (0,3l). Tha staff was very friendly and even though they didn't speak English that well they did everything to give us advice and make us feel welcome.... More

Really good tapas place on carrer de blai. They have a bunch of small plate tapas that you choose from and then pay at the end. Each dish comes with a toothpick in it and at the end you show the cashier the number of toothpicks you have and pay for your food. Each tapa is 1€. The portions are... More

Zodiaco for lunch is fantastic! They have a long counter top full of pinchos at a €1 each and you serve yourself, then tell the staff how many you had when you come to pay at the end of the meal. I recommend the calamari rings and the bomba (a mashed potato and beef dumpling of sorts), but everything is... More

Bar Zodiaco is the best option you can choose among all the small places in the street where you can eat pinchos. Nice and welcoming atmospehere despite the lack of english speaking.

Great small place for taps and pinxtos. Also serve meals. Very inexpensive as most are on Carrer Blai.

We stopped at the Zodiaco on the way to the airport for a Paella, the bar in on Blai, a pedestrianised area, we sat outside the Paella was good but missing the prawns that were on the menu. The food was hot and well presented, 2 paellas and 2 beers each for 34 Euros, so reasonably priced.

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
