My family loved to taste local food whenever we traveled. Wow, saw this restaurant on Tripadvisor, and it delivered! The waiter who was originally from Brazil and he was really helpful. We ordered food based on his suggestions and we were not disappointed! Even my...simple dish of cod with spinach, that was done beautifully! Believe it or not. One of my favourite starters was the Iberian sausage with mushrooms. Did not expect that!! Wonderful favour. Even my daughter didn’t d not like mushrooms, she enjoyed it. If I lived here, I will go back again. I did not write this review because of having a couple glasses of Sangria. We have visited various other restaurants. This was the best restaurant in our week of dining in Barcelona. An old wine cellar, it has great atmosphere, superb food, and excellent wines. The steak was done to perfection. Our waitress was helpful, very friendly and made the experience particularly pleasant. The restaurant...is really busy - our hotel was able to get a reservation for a Thursday night with the promise that we would not stay longer that an hour and 45 minutes - despite this we never felt even slightly rushed. We liked it so much we tried to reserve for the following night but their earliest slot was for 10:30 pm. The prix fixe menus are reasonably priced, not cheap but good value. The house wine was superb - we even bought a bottle to take home with us.More

We did not make a reservation, although I would strongly urge, but I mention this as the host really went out of his way to help us get in. The restaurant is an old horse stable for the nearby palace and the restaurant has kept...that aura (although minus the horses). The ambiance was only half of the equation that makes this place awesome. The second half is the food! We did the tasting menu which was phenomenal. My husband had what he labeled “the juiciest and most tender pork chop ever”. We loved it all ! Make a reservation please and go- you will not regret it!!More

My steak was raw instead of medium rare and when asked the waitress insisted it was medium rare. No offer to fix it. Or apologize that somehow my expectations weren’t met. The meat was purple. Also no way that it was a sirloin given how...much fat was in it. Never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. Croquettes tasted burned and had no discernible seafood flavor. Ravioli were fine but nothing special. Waitress had no idea what the ingredients in the dishes were when we asked. My husband’s cod was fine, not great. Not the worst meal we had in Spain, just close to it.More

Dined here after my wife and I got married (the wedding day). Staff was so kind and wonderful. They celebrated with us. We felt very special. Gorgeous exposed walls and candlelights. Food was absolutely incredible. Will definitely visit again in the future.More
