This restaurant is absolutely amazing with every single plate with the seafood. If you want to eat truly delicious muscles or any other shellfish you definitely shall visit this place. Plus it isn’t expansive in comparison to other places. Service is also really good, attentive.
I have had the opportunity to dine a number of times in La Barca de Salamanca restaurant. My first impression is that it is a very touristic restaurant based in the Olympic port of Barcelona however I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent food and...service and of course its views (as far as you do not stay inside).
The restaurant is excellent for its sea food (especially Paellas) as well as for traditional Spanish plates like Jamon, Solomillo (fillets, etc).
The service is impeccable and the management of the restaurant always offers extras like a little Jamon plates, different types of bread, deserts and shots at the end...
A pleasant experience, excellent sea food and an opportunity to do something different in Barcelona escaping to a lovely place by the sea.More
The food was incredible!!! The service was perfekt and everybody were so nice. We ate pan, grilled fish platter and drank sangria de cava. We loved everything we tasted!!! The fish and the seafood were the best we have ever ate. Sangrias was really fresh...and good. A big + that They served olives direct when we came and served soft cookie with liqour as the postre, it Also tasted fantastic. Not long waiting for the food and fast + good service. We are SO happy that we found this place, because it was a fantastic food experience 🤩More
Fresh Delicious Expensive Big portions Food.
My husband used to come here for dinner on business trips and finally got the oppty to take us! Well the experience was great, they even arranged a parasol because my son was sitting in the sun. We ordered...9 oysters 4,60 per piece to start and it was a meaty thick juicy oyster! The deep, not the flat ones.
We ordered fish and meat and it was all good. Great!! assad our waiter was the best! Friendly and good with people, we could tell.More
Bad English language. Always tries to suggest to order more. Didn't get what I ordered. Of course dish was very delicious and sangria was great but overall it was EXPENSIVE! I recommend if you have plenty of money. Service is good.
I'm local from Barcelona. I had dinner here as part of an event of the company I'm currently working. This place is the typical restaurant that focuses on tourists that just look for a place to have some seafood and paella. Low-medium quality food served...and expensive. There are many other places where you can eat much better for much less. There are many restaurants that tourists should avoid, this is one of them.More
If possible I would have given it 3,5 stars. Went her twice during five days in Barcelona (far before the corona chaos broke out). Quite a noisy restaurant with a rather fun vibe and seemingly always full of people - mainly tourists - due to...its good location. It is heavily promoted by guides etc. and borders on being a tourist trap so if you want something intimate and genuine I’d suggest you go somewhere else. Service and food varied from one visit (great) to the other (mediocre) so it seems to be one of those hit and miss places. Not cheap but fairly decent prices. You just have to decide for yourself if it is worth it but if you are a group of friends roaming this part of town to start a night out I can recommend to give it a try.More

We had went out walking/exploring and wore shorts and t-shirts and dropped in by chance early lunch on a Sunday about 12:15, it initialy appeared empty. Within 30 minute it was packed and a long que had formed. Lots of Spanish families out for Sunday lunch and they were smartly dressed, but we did not feel out of place in casual clothes. Food and service was fantastic in what would appear to be one of the largest and busiest restaurants in Barcelona. We choose from the fresh fish counter and had three courses a couple of bottlers of good wine/Cava, coffee, liqueurs and some drinks on the house, think the bill came in 70 euros each which seems high but we did have fresh selected fish/shellfish. All in a fantastic experience down on the Marina and they can cater for any size of party. Enjoy
