This place came recommended by a friend and it was one of the best I've ever received. It is so authentic and unusual as a Brit but my partner and I loved it. It is very Spanish, you stand around, there is no seating but...More

I absolutely loved this place while in Barcelona. I had multiple locals and friends who lived there tell me about it. Please note that expectations need to be set though for you to enjoy yourself in my opinion. This is not a sit down restaurant....More

I visited here on the suggestion of a friend, as the title says it is a find and you do have to look for it. It does not even have a sign outside. If you have google maps its not difficult and is very near...More

Very crowdy (and that makes it even more special) place where you can taste very good kinds of cava for cheap prices. They want you to order two tapas dishes with each bottle. But that's not a tourist trap, it's simply to avoid people getting...More

I simply adore this place! The atmosphere is lovely, feels very cosy and casual, the food is simple but exceptionally tasty and, of course, cava! I used to be a frequent guest when I lived in Barcelona, now I visit each time I'm in the...More

After many recommendations from friends and family, we found ourself in this bustling back alley local restaurant. No tables, no chairs, one big bar and ridiculously cheap bottles of Cava! All of the boards behind the bar were written in Catalan, we had no idea...More

I went to this place for the first time 8 years ago - loved it then and loved it now too! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere - it's perfect. I'm so glad it hasn't changed. I tried both the sweet and the dry rose...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in

No - it's not that sort of place - only a few seats - it's a stand wherever you can & eat usually somewhere to put you glass though!!!
Has this place moved? Tried to go the other night and was not there anymore?! Thanks

It is quite hard to find and is small but packed in the evening when they have a doorman. There is a glass sliding door with a round red sticker on it and no other indication it is there. Well worth going back for though!
