Such a great experience. Traditional Catalonian standing restaurant. My partner and I had the pink cava and a variety of tapas. The atmosphere is fantastic. Bustling and cheerful. Really cheap and yummy food. Great service. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the pink cava and the bacon...More

It’s the second time we’ve been here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic atmosphere with great food and drinks. The first time we came a few years ago there was a queue out the door and it was pretty hectic once inside but still good fun,...More

Not really many places to sit down and relax especially given how extremely busy it gets but genuinely was a fantastic experience. Value for money is great, food wonderful and customer service was excellent!

Hidden gem near the Port area of Barcelona this bar is incredible. The cava is sold by the bottle at around €6.75 along with freshly cooked tapas (which must be bought). The atmosphere is great and the place is always full. There are no seats...More

I lived this bar, the Cava is superb, the bar snacks awesome. It's not a place to sit down and it's always busy, but we all loved it. I wouldn't recommend using the toilet, it was rather grim, but then that does depend on how...More

Tiny place full of life, bursting with customers chatting, drinking delicious pink cava, eating fried chorizzo, cheese, olives, iberian ham and many other tapas is what you get in this tiny and buzzing place- it is not a place where you'd stay for hours, more...More

We stopped off here on the recommendation of a friend. When he said ‘standing room only’ I wasn’t sure what he meant, but now I do. It’s a bustling, busy cava and sandwich bar, no tables, just lean up against the counter or the wall....More

Ok, so I'm going against all the brilliant reviews on here, but we just didn't have a good experience at all. Arrived early (12.15pm), so it wasn't jam packed, but even so we were made to feel quite unwelcome. Having tried to decipher the menu...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
