Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The food was so good!!! The beef croquettes was nice. I loved the raw shrimp with caviar, the octopus with fried chicken skin, mussels in white wine, and the scallops with pork and artichoke. The risotto was very creamy and flavorful. The seafood paella was...very nice with a strong seafood flavor. Great service and atmosphere. All in it was 200EURO for the 4 of us.More

This place had come recommended from a friend via a food critic, so I didn’t read the reviews. My husband was reading them before we went and things weren’t looking so good. I learned my lesson on that one (always read the reviews). The service...was terrible and the food was mediocre. They do not offer menus, instead the server lists things off and you have to try and remember what they tell you. It felt like I was in school. There are 2 boards hanging inside the restaurant with the menu which just led to all the patrons taking photos and looking at their phones. No one asked if we wanted drinks and when I asked the server, they said they would send someone else over. We started getting dishes before someone else came over to take our drink order even tho people who had arrived after us all had drinks. On a positive note the staff was helpful when it came to dietary restrictions which I wasn’t expecting.More

Food was fresh and tasted good. Service was also good. There was no english menu, just a spanish menu on the board so we ordered with pictures. Turns out our paella was priced at 60€. The yellow highlights on the bill picture LOVE: paella, vegetarian...croqueta, sangria Didn't like: french toast, octopus on chicken skinMore

The place is okay, the food is not bad, overpriced compared to the quality and the quantity , the order is by piece, no menu, even the board only lists the appetizers that is not understood for non locals, the waitress lists the options of...raw food but ull never know how much ull end up paying for what you are ordering, She noticed that i dont want raw food, she suggested Chicken with potato dish, the taste was okay, but we were charged 50 euros for this platter which is full of chicken bone leg. i don't like surprises like this. we paid 100 euros for 2, we ate empanadas on our way back:)More

Disappointing experience. The place is very cool in terms you of design and staff is very attentive and nice. However, I was shocked by the prices and the food - despite being fresh and good quality - it was very average in terms of taste...and portion size. The catch of the day was between 80€-250€/Kg. Both the red and white we had were very not good at all. Very disappointed overall. We ended up going to the bar in front - entrepanes Diaz - where we had some nice croquettes, wine and deserts.More

The staff was super helpful and attentive. The food was really something else. The only minus is that we were asked to leave almost as soon as we finished dessert, despite being clearly relaxed and enjoying ourselves. I would still return for the food alone.

Very nice restaurant. The staff is very friendly and there is no menu. All the menu is listed on the billboard and the employee will explain it in English. Food is quite nice and fresh.

Sooooo good!!! Just an overall excellent dining experience. From the food options and tastes to the quaint atmosphere and the outstanding service from Maia! She presented all the menu options in English (but with a Spanish vibe:)....both couples loved her so much we let her...make all the choices for us including the beverages .......all were HER recommendations/choices, and all were incredible. This place alone would be reason enough to return to Barcelona! Recommended by a Foodie friend, and so happy we chose to try it out!! It IS a hidden gem:)More

Booked for a special occasion but was placed outside which meant we were forgotten about in terms of service. Also noisy next to cars and smokers. Food was good but smaller portions than most tapas.

Food and ambience were lovely. However, when we came to pay they added an extra 45€ for a fish they recommended for the paella. This was not made clear when we ordered. Wouldn’t go back and please be aware if you visit!. I would also...note that it seemed full of tourists. Maybe locals are more savvy!More

Depending on how many people you are, I suggest that if you're a small group you just walk in and ask or as suggested before ask the hotel to make the booking for you (in Spanish)

We were here for lunch. We don't have children, and I would be totally fine with a family with children sitting by us. I would agree with the others that lunch is probably more suitable than dinner in your case.
