We had a recommendation from a tour operator. We arrived and were seated immediately. Waiters were prompt, able, & courteous. We had mussels & razor clams. Both were delicious. Nice freshly made whole grain bread. We had a beer and glass of wine. Whole bill...More

We chose this restaurant for it's advertised special shown outside. Once we ordered a drink, we were informed that special was not avail. We shared a small over priced paella and a sangria...24 euros. The sangria tasted like grape koolaid with cheap wine and the...More

We tried Santa Catarina Market for lunch as we looked for the fresh and tasty Boqueria experience without the madness. And we didn’t regret. The place is absolutely marvelous, a mixture of contemporary-modern-social-bistro touch from all points of view, from the entrance counter, aromatic herbs...More

I just don't get it. As soon as we arrived as a group of 7 we were made to feel unwelcome. Slow service if any, and then a very nonchalant waiter who refused to explain the concept or even talk to us. We ordered food,...More

We tried different typical dishes and they were very delicious. Even their Vegetable lasagna (not so typical) was great.

Seems like over the years the place is losing much of it charm and food quality, to bad.  Definitely a very reasonable choice in the area but not much more.

Had lunch was busy but waiters were friendly and efficient. Open grill kitchen but no yelling Gordon Ramsey. Many locals but tourists welcome. I highly recommend

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
