I've been there 3 times already and haven't been disappointed. We've always managed to get a shared table out in the sun. I've had the hamburger with mushrooms, which is actually only the meat without the buns or veggies, the tagliatelle with shrimp and the tuna tartar. All dishes have been excellent both in taste and presentation...although a bit small... More

Went here for dinner and they had a great selection of everything from seafood to lamb, Mediterranean and vegetarian. I had a thai chicken that had just the right amount of spice. Their babaganou was an excellent appetizer. You have to try their Catalonia creme for dessert - Spanish version of creme brulee that has vanilla, cinnamon and orange flavors... More

This restaurant is part of the Santa Caterina Market. They do not accept bookings but if you arrive early you are shown to a table quite quickly. If not, there is an excellent bar at the front where you can have a drink and wait for a table. We arrived twice at 8pm and were shown to a table immediately... More

We highly recommend the tuna ceviche. The portion is a bit small but it is delicious! The environment is also super nice.

Visited here several times and no complaints. They have a kind of a fusion kitchen with options from all around the World. This time tried beef Gyosas, Calamares and some Artichokes with clams and Jamon. Gyosas was a little dry but tasty, Calamares good and Artichokes tasty. Nicely designed place with marketplace armosphere, social dining and open kitchen. Not maybe... More

My wife and I went with a friend who recommended this resturant. We had appetizers and entrees with a couple of bottles of red wine. Service was great!

we had alcachofa stuffed lunottis with parmesan that was really delicious . For dessert the milhojas con frutos rojos is super and the vanilla ice cream is truly the best and most naturally luscious I've had since I was born 18th of july 94 . The prices are a bit high but quite deserving when considering the quality. The negative... More

It's a good option if you want to eat and are in the area. Very busy place, friendly staff. The tapas are good. Paid €30 for 2.

Been to Barcelona many times but think this is my current favorite restaurant. It has a huge menu of every imaginable tapas preparation divided by cuisine, and categories from meat to veg all freshly prepared by chefs in their open kitchen. Plenty of drink options and my favorite is their sangria. My only gripe is that the main dining doesn't... More

The place looked great and was on a pedestrian street. We stopped for lunch and ordered several Tapas plates which sounded very good. We also got a half liter of wine. Our waiter was a little so to come to the table initially but brought menus and wine straight away. After several tables were seated, served and starting to pay,... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
