Ate here twice during a 5 day break in Barcelona. Stumbled across this restaurant whilst walking towards another restaurant and I'm so glad we did. Speaking no Spanish staff took the time to translate the special menu which was a nice touch. Food was very nice and tapas was brought out at separate times so we were not overwhelmed with... More

Food had a very large variety; some dishes were simply great while othere were sub-par. Definitely not up to the level we were accustomed to after a few days in Barcelona. It seems like it's a mostly for-tourists-place. Prices were very decent though, so for the money I guess we can't complain too much. I would still check it out... More

After waiting for more than half an hour we got the salad we ordered! It was tasteless, just another ordinary salad you can make yourself at home. At tht point we were informed that they run out of pasta (what we ordered), so we got another thing (not much better than the salad). To make it worst our table was... More

On my second trip to gracia in 4 months, this has been my go to place. The food is consistently amazing. The service is second to none. The local wine selection is superb. I can't say enough about this great place. On the service side, they are all great, but I have found Veronica and her husband Alvaro to be... More

We went there twice in 4 days - the warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was worth it. Even if the salmon tataki was not too much my taste (thinner slices would be better and I think it is best with a honey mustard vinaigrette) the carpaccio of beef, the burgers and the chicken in tempura were absolutely great.... Found this place away from the main centre. Food was excellent, we had the beef bourginon which was melt in the mouth. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Recommend highly.

We happened on this place whilst looking for another restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and between 4 of us paid only just over 50 Euros for a 3 course menu with risotto, fresh fish, drinks and tasty desserts. Highly recommend.

This is on a side street just off Placa Virreina. We sat at a comfy table outside, people-watched, and had a light and very tasty meal of salmon tapas, salad, and the best papas bravas we've ever had covered with aioli and hot sauce. We stayed so long that we finished the bottle of red wine! Service was efficient and... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
