Very nice discovering: an incredible place with excellent food (really Catalan gastronomy, with local products) and a charming atmosphere. The menu options were wide enough, from "spoon dishes" (empedrat) to typical and rare-to find tradicional ones. Service was quick and kind. Even funny. We had...More

We had a lovely time at this restaurant. It was a bit out of the way, which actually was good as it was a very nice walk. We had rabbit and venison, mussels, a lovely wine and were very happy everything.

Excellent lunch. Very traditional Catalan food. This is where the locals go. The kids had a great cod filet with home made fries and had no complaints. Daily lunch menu of €21 included wine, appetizer, main dish and dessert.

Very good meal with traditional catalan dishes, very good jamón, codfish and peus de pork. Good atmosphere, nice tiles at the walls and very good attention from the owner and the waiters. A must in Barcelona, definetely, I 'll go back there.

We arrived late and luckily we found a free table. Very tasty dishes accompanied by good drinks. And the staff was very friendly at all times. I would recommend it.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an

spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day

This property was present and witnessed Barcelona's move from the late nineteenth century. Ca L'Estevet is a part of the rich history of the city as a rallying point of the certain nuclei of Barcelona's society, which had its great moment from the formation and development of the ineffable "gauche divine". The reports of La Vanguardia filled its capacity at noon, and today there are two cultural center of reference, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) and the "Centre de Cultura Contemporanea de Barcelona" (CCCB), as well as neighboring universities, while at night it still remains one of the most traditional meeting places.
