It's a typical Spanish restaurant specialized in rices and paellas. The service and food are quiet good . Don't expect anything exceptional, it's just average. The clients are mostly Spanish, because it's a well know restaurant.

Elegant restaurant, nicely decorated. The service was efficient but not friendly. They have a good variety of rice dishes. We had escalivada as a starter that was homemade, very tasty with a smoky flavour. Then arroz caldoso con bogavante (rice with lobster) that was well...More

Very smart looking restaurant with excellent Paella. However, Head Waiter was unfriendly. We were asked to move table over to accommodate others... we were against the wall already! Other staff were fine. Good wine. Shame

Disappointing and tasteless paella. We all tried different paella and all were quite disappointing. Totally bad experience.

Some of the best service we have gotten in Barcelona. You knew it was going to be good when the Paella took a while to make. Means fresh and not microwaved. I got the seafood which came out with huge prawn and shrimp and mussels...More

Off the touristic paths, this is a classical type of restaurant with professional waiters and local clients. A Spanish friend from Barcelona advised us to go and we were not disappointed. If you want to taste a non-touristic version, try Elche. Better to reserve a...More

Elcho was recommended to us by one local guy and later by another one so we decided that's it's worth to eat there! We ordered paella with seafoods and chicken, it was very tasty! The vine advised us by a sommelier was also perfect! As...More

Tapas and paella was fresh and good. Probably not the best in Barcelona but worth a try. I liked the experience. The decoration and ambiance was good. The service was flawless. If you are looking for a reasonably priced fresh paella you should try elche.
