Stumbled upon this cafe and it was a good choice. The prices are great and they have fresh juices. I recommend the suco de mango. The croissants are very good.

Very authentic cafe, right where placa de catalunya is. Go there to have a nice cafe or beer. It's noisier but in its style cool! A must go

This is the place where most policemen would come for their lunch. Their simple, no frill and no fuss menu at affordable pricing could be the mainstay for local dining. This is a treasure joint, uncorrupted by its prime venue.

300 gr steak + salad+ drink 13 eur it is very delicious meal and price is very acceptable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is very close to La Rambla Street so you don't need to pay more money for very small tapas...

A typical Barcelona pavement cafe. Very popular with locals and visitors alike. Just off the expensive beaten track of Passage de Gracia.

The good points of this café are: · Its privileged location (Casp next to Passeig de Gràcia, which means the very heart of Barcelona); the fact that it lies right next to the studios of Radio Barcelona lets you meet (and hopefully greet) some local celebrities from time to time. · Its selection of coffee and tea, with the private... Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
