If you are looking for a place to eat amazing seafood, you are in the perfect place. It's a must in Barcelona! All my life I never liked seafood, although I ate it at Botafumeiro. Mass touristic, but with amazing service and food.

My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of dining in September, 2017, at this very expensive restaurant. Once our waiter realized we were not ordering the seafood platter which varied in price from 135-145 Euros, we never saw him again until we asked for...More

The restaurant is on the pricey side, and we did not like all the dishes. But as tourist I would return if I visit Barcelona again (especially with a group) because it offers an experience we do not normally get in Asia. The restaurant is...More

With a champagne list of 12 different types this is the ultimate sea food restaurant in Barcelona. My first visit was 10 years ago and nothing has changed as far as the excellent service, great sea food menu.

The place: this is a very famous seafood restaurant in Barcelona. The place was large and very crowded. The decoration was nothing special and the tables were close to one another. The service: very impersonal staff who went about their business mechanically. We had to...More

My son and I had a late lunch and selected the cold seafood platter - washed down with a lovely Albariño. Service and food both excellent, absolutely nothing to criticise.

We got there as recommended by our Hotel's concierge for dinner and we were glad to make it. Professional and friendly staff, fresh and tasty food. We did not go for their famous seafood platter but tried something different: seabass fish, paella which were delicious...More

Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to
be an independent town until late into the 19th
century. Though it’s just a short commute away from
the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole
different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many
international artists to this area, resulting in a
wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy
boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the

Among the three hundred diners that fill this 30-year-old restaurant every day, you may spot the King of Spain, movie stars, and politicians. Botafumeiro has to be a well-oiled machine to keep all and sundry happy and coming back for more, and it does. The decor is so trad, with wood railings and banisters, white table linens, and nautically-themed art and objets. The menu focusses on the sea, try fruits de mer for two to start, followed by anglerfish fisherman's stew with white beams or one of the barbecued fish, then a dessert of Belgian chocolate volcano with chocolate sherbet. Wine list is an ambassador for Spanish wines.
