We were lucky enough to have this place recommended to us and my goodness are we happy about that. We both had the set menu in the afternoon which was 4 course as well as a glass of vermouth. It was quite simply one of...More

I first visited this restaurant in the 1992, the year of the Barcelona Olympics. I returned recently and was delighted to find it in good form, serving excellent traditional Catalan cuisine. It has a lunch menu that is sensational value and is also open in...More

We went back to Can Lluis again and we found better food but same enchanting atmosphere as in previous times. We enjoyed nice fish and very nice wine at a very competitive price!

I spent a lot of time in Barcelona in the early '90's and got to know and love this wonderful Catalan restaurant (which even then was an old-timer, with a fascinating history). I go back there every time I am in town. Last week I...More

We ordered one of the evening set menus. The quality of the food was excellent and the portion size was generous. The welcome and the service were also great.

The place is very original, you have a rough and particular service, but if you don't take it seriously, it's fine. The food is regular, nothing amazing, but not bad at all. Good menus, check them.

I have had a dinner here. I ate a very very tasty black paella, I drunk 4 glasses of sangria (amazing gin sangria) and I ordered a coffee. In the end I spent 27 euros. It's a very honest price. The service was simple PERFECT....More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic

authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day

Hi DTGray2013, The roasted shoulder of goat is indeed a specialty at Can Lluis. In fact, it is one of my favorites! MinnesotaTim
