Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Found this restaurant after a visit to Parc Guell after a local lady recommended it. Small and very popular family run, typically Catalan restaurant. We were given a hand-written English menu which included 3 courses, bread (filled up 3 times) and wine/soft drinks for 12.5 Euros each! We really enjoyed our lunch: Catalan soup/pasta tuna salad for starters, grilled hake/pork cheek/hotpot loin/sausage for main, cheesecake/fruit salad/creme caramel for desert. Excellent service and the locals were queuing up to get a table. Delicious food, highly recommended.

We wanted to eat lunch in our way to Park Guell.
I was in a few restaurants in my life, but this one become one of my favourite. Great lunch, good prices and awesome people working here.
The english menu was written by hand, and this one thing shows that they put heart in everything they do.
We will return,for sure.
Thank you for the great service ♥️👌

If you want food to look at go somewhere else but if you want fantastic tasting food then, ignore what the outside looks like walk in sit down in a clean friendly cafe filled with local people.
My family all loved the food it’s a 3 course meal deal and great value. We had, staters - veg and ham, tuna salad and 2 Catalan soups, mains - grilled hake, pork sausage, pork loin and pork cheeks and finally desert - fruit salad, 2 cheesecakes and creme caramel (flan).
Everything tasted fantastic and everyone was welcoming and friendly from the owner, the staff to the locals. My daughter summed it up saying best soup she ever had.

Best value for money in town. We went as a group of 7, quite hard to fit in Spanish restaurants, but the owner welcomed us with open arms. The english was sufficient, with wonderful waiters. The food was typical of Catalonia, and quite cheap for the amount we ate. The ambiance of the entire hole in the wall was amazing, would advise anyone heading towards Park Güell to stop by Bar Casi for a quick meal!

What can I say... Our first impression staring at its interior from the outside was not the best. But we decided to trust the reviews, and God were we not disappointed! The food was out of this world, especially the encebollado I had. The stuff was incredibly friendly, everyone made us feel at home. Another thing that impressed me was that I saw locals and groups from various countries enjoy their meal and environment and all praising the place equally. Well, it sure deserves it!

Family and I went to park güell and when we left we were really hungry. I saw this place on Google maps and thought we’d try it after a not so good experience from another place nearby. Service was amazing from the gentleman it’s only small place but really good service and food. For two courses for 4 people and drinks it came to about €55 which is very good seeing prices in other restaurants. Would 10 out of 10 recommend

4 of us had lunch in this restaurant after visiting Parc Guell.
Arriving early, around 12.30pm, we easily found a place.
The place doesn't have many seats and is small, it looks like an old tavern, we really liked it.
We ordered Iberian jamon with melon, a trio of tortillas, roast meat, meatballs and peas with potatoes, 2 beers and 1 still water
All very good, indeed.
The staff were very kind and always attentive to the needs of our little girls.
We ended lunch with 2 coffees and 1 ice cream.
All for a cost of 46 euros, more than deserved.
Recommended if you want to have lunch in the Parc Guell area.

It was recommended to us by a friend from the neighborhood who has always known them. Wonderful, super reasonable price, delicious, homemade food and above all a 10% service. The waiters (with a special mention to Xavi with a continuous smile) and the cook were super friendly, attentive and affectionate. If I return to Barcelona I will return to Casi.

While we enjoyed the local menu, we much more enjoyed the personality and service of your host and his father (and cook), “Almost.” It's not a sumptuous place, but you won't want anything different. Their food is very good and extremely reasonable in price. Regular locals and lost tourists come together in fraternization. We will never miss a visit to this Bar on every visit to Barcelona.

We found this small place on recommendations, we arrived when the kitchen was closed and even so its Owner (I think it was called Javier) attended us in the best possible way, it was so good the care that even helped him serve haha
Spanish tortillas were delicious, place without tourists (Barcelona is hard to find )
Although your menu is small support the locals and try this place will be worth it for a couple of beers and something to eat (menu very reduced but all very local and tasty )
Anyway I wish this place well and visit without hesitation, excellent option near Guell Park

If you've been to Park Guell, are around and want to eat something on a unique Barcelona experience without spending all your rich little money, go to that place. Don't let your appearance fool you. There you will find excellent homemade food, unique service and unbeatable price!
Come to the place, wait for a table and wait for the service. You don't have to make any gestures. When the only attendant/owner can, he will attend you (and will be the most efficient service in Spain!).
The bar (which looks like the dining room of a msm house, making jus to the name) is collaborative (not surprising if a customer stops eating and goes to take the order at the next table, or go into the kitchen and get back with the dishes you ordered, or clean the table someone just used).
The attendant / owner is super friendly and you will get out of there wanting to be his friend!
The food is homemade and well served. If you order a wine (or beer, soda, water), which is already included in the price, you will receive a whole bottle!
The food included first dish, second dish and dessert! All delicious and with taste of homemade food..
Anyway, leaving Park Guell, don't hesitate, go eat in that place!

Well, the chicken is still good but the french fries rather not , menu of the day: you should know if you really understood what you order. Still, everything is fresh and your meal is with local People. Cost for day menu about 12 €

Quite a discovery. Far from the center and the culinary attention areas is this restaurant, Bar Casi, with the appearance of a tavern but offering rich and abundant home-made cuisine. The service is good, they solve problems quickly and they have a priceless and friendly waiter.

Typical place to do, they are welcoming and caring.
The locals know the address. No decoration but quality in terms of products. Establishment run by father and son.
Card written by hand on a sheet of paper, following the day.

Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
