We tried several ice cream/gelato places in Barcelona, but none of them even came close to Vioko. Interesting flavours, big portions and excellent taste.

Fantastic ice-cream; rich in flavour. We enjoyed a chocolate with brownie and caramel scoop and a rose and raspberry scoop. Both were thoroughly enjoyed. Reasonably priced for the portion size.

This is arguably the best ice cream in Barcelona. The flavours are interesting and original using spices like ginger to blend with traditional flavours. They also do great milk shakes with these flavours.

One of the best Gelatos I’ve ever had! We visited two VOIKO shops during our trip to Barcelona (one close to the port, the other one at the Barri Gotic) and we have tried different flavors of gelato each time (12 in total!). Our favorite ones were definitely Pistachio (tastes like real pistachio nuts, not too nutty or sweet), Sambayon... More

There are lots of ice cream places near the beach but my friend recommended this one. They have a massive selection (look at the board not just what you can see through the glass). They were really good ice cream and quite reasonably priced for the beach €4.10 for three Flavours in a tub. I'd recommend it.

Went here with friends, as a lover of ice cream was impressed with the quality of the gelato here. Priced reasonably and very friendly staff who know their ice cream. Shop could do with more seating.

The ice creams are...superb. They taste amazing. Probably the best ice cream place in Barceloneta. Try the Mojito ice cream and buy some chocolate too!

Thank Alba B

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
