I have been couple of times and both times I enjoyed the atmosphere, service and above all the tapas that are amazingly prepared and well presented. Tiny little cosy place that make you feel good, service is been always accurate and attentive, fast. I absolutely recommend all the meats and please listen to the special of the day as well.... We had a delicious meal, very informal atmosphere, beautiful ceviche and some of the most tasty prawns I've had in a long time.

We wanted a light meal and my eye caught the specials board outside Mirilla. We put it on our list of possibilities as there are many choices locally. Deciding it was the best option we returned and enjoyed complimentary olives, followed by the 'special' venison and fried potatoes. Sumptuous! Service was very friendly and the price was more than reasonable.... More

My partner and I stumbled onto this place late on a Saturday night. It was busy but the owner told us we could have a table after twenty minutes or so. We had a glass of wine and some olives at the bar while we waited. After we were seated we were not disappointed. We ordered six tapas and each... More

I loved the blood sausage with chickpeas and the charcuterie plate. Both were well prepared if not particularly original.

Stumbled upon this place walking back to our hotel and we were not disappointed. Tasty tapas, great sangria, and fun music. Will come again if I am back in Barca!

We loved this place. They have genuinely superb tapas, with -possibly- the best ever pan con tomate I have ever had (and I had many!). Great vegetarian tapas and the albóndigas (meat and squid) were fab, as were the hamburguesitas. Just amazing. Don't miss this place. It is 100%.

Best tapas in Barcelona! We were fortunate enough to eat here during our visit to Barcelona and it was the best tapas we had. The atmosphere of the restaurant was casual with the owners being helpful, offering suggestions and explaining the daily specials. Menu must haves are the cava sangria, fish croquets and the tiramisu. Owners spoke both English and... More

We went to Mirilla on the recommendation of Alex, the lady who checked us into our Airbnb. It was literally right across the street from where we were staying so super convenient. When we first entered the restaurant, it seems cool, chill and really laid back, the type of atmosphere I appreciate. Our first course was the shrimp, omg! I... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
