Good tapas, small price, nice service. We went there 2 times, once early in the evening and once for lunch. We ate tapas, Tortillas, Chipirones ala Plancha and a bunch of other dishes, all ranging from decent to quite good.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

Opened since July 1, 1942, Bodega Joan is one of the oldest restaurants in Barcelona and always has belonged to the same family. Joan's grandfather, actual director of the local, was the founder, and since then,it passed from father to son until today. Specialists in Spanish food and catalan food. Here you will find the true experience of a catalan restaurant bar, where we support the FC Barcelona with pasion and where the movement of people and joy are our dishes every day.
