Good staff and a really friendly bloke behind the bar when we went in, it was busier than we expected but no one in there was left without a seat! Would recommend for a drink on your trip definitely!

Spent a couple of evenings in here with water and brothers and met many people from all around the world. The ale is well kept and always served with a smile and they even arranged to put the Celtic match on the telly that night for me even though they were not planning to do so. Bonus arrived in the... Watched the football in there, it was rather quiet but then again who wants to watch Aston Villa play. Staff were friendly and a decent Guinness.

We stayed in the Hotel Jazz for 4 nights and I visited this brilliant bar every afternoon for a refreshing pint or two on the way back to the hotel in the hot weather. We then visited the bar on the way back to the hotel after a night out for some late night drinks as this bar was open... More

Watched some of the European Championship games here whilst in the city for a short break. Great and friendly staff (and especially knowledgeable about the area). Good selection of drinks although no food which is a shame. The Jameson bottle collection is worth the visit alone.

Easy to find on a main road not far from the ramblas. Part of a student hostel serves breakfast and snacks through out the day. Full breakfast and coffee approx €8. Also open late and offers special offers on various drinks. Good music even during breakfast.

Visited as a group of 6 and whilst it was late afternoon and not too busy the owner took time out to talk to us and get us involved in his dream. Having owned the bar for the last 15 years he knows everything about the area and the bar and how to ensure the customers enjoy the experience. Great... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
