Smaller, cozy, upscale setting, nice for couples. Attentive staff, upbeat soft rock music. A few green olives in oil were served as a fee appetizer and we also ordered Bruchetta, which was very good made with a crusty French bread. I had Scallops with steamed vegetables served in a plastic bag, tied with a small twine on top. They had... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the innovative touch and the beautiful presentation of the dishes The tapas (morcilla, bravas, croquetas con sepia) were particularly good in comparison to so many places in Barcelona The tuna tataki was interesting and beautiful, just lacking a fresh touch (like lemon, or to be served colder) The ceviche had interesting twists The burrata was... What an amazing place, delicious and surprising dishes across the board, and the service was so welcoming. Everything was perfect and surprising. I couldn't recommend it higher.

I have been to this small excellent restaurant a few times. I suggest you share dishes to have a full experience of the variety of taste and texture. I will go back again the next time I am in Barcelona.

visited this place a couple years ago and it was one of our favorites in Barcelona. Just went back and it was as good as ever. Interesting International fusion cuisine well executed with fresh ingredients.A welcome respite from the same old tapas.definitely worth trying

Been there at least 8 times. Only inconvenience is the size of the eating room and tables, for the rest, stunning. Great service, excelent food experience. Book in advance.

We made a reservation at Santa Gula after reading the many good reviews here on TripAdvisor. Our AirB&B was conviently located about a 1 minute walk away. Our reservation was for 8:00 on a Wednesday evening. This is a small place, approximately 28 seats. It wasn't full on this evening, but Barcelona was playing in Paris and a lot of... More

I was a customer of Santa Gula, been there at least 6 times. The last time I booked for a Friday night dinner (Jan. 27 2016) I had some family over and wanted to show them a good time in Barcelona. Upon reserving by phone, the waiter/manager mentions that the table is free at 8:30 but booked at 10PM, so... More

This is the second review I write about this place, as it is just next door to where I live. I celebrated NYE here and was happily surprised. Great dishes, a bit expensive, but that's due to NYE, but really delicious.

Fabulous lunch at this local favorite. Menus in English helped very much. Gets very crowded with locals, so reserve or get there early. Quaint setting with dishes not normally seen on your average restaurant menu.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
