We dined here at the recommendation of our hotel for "local cuisine" that's not touristy. Cute little restaurant, friendly service, but 2/3 of thought the food was completely tasteless and just tasted like fried food- the Jamon on tomato bread was the only thing enjoyed. The croquettes, potatoes bravas, and calamari were not good. I would seek food elsewhere personally.

This place is awesome, no other way to describe. Was tipped off by a friend who suggest the ham was top tier... And it was as well as everything else we ate and saw come out. Had the house plate of ham, cheese and sausages as well as the pimentos de padron. Also the place I finally understood tomato bread... More

We have been here many times and it never fails to please. Great Iberian jamon sliced right next to your table. Fabulous tapas and a great wine list. Occasionally someone playing the guitar. The other night the music ranged from traditional Spanish to the Beatles to the Monkees!

The restaurant is at a good location - that is, if you're at the Sagrada Familia -, the kitchen is good, we chose the lamb chops and had a great wine (some Syrah) with that, I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly, English wasn't a problem (though it seemed not all of them spoke it very well, but... More

We tried this venue for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel and we found it be very welcoming and the food, great! The walls are adorned with a welcome message in several different languages and the staff spoke very good English although our waitress struggled with one word, when I had a question, so she had to get her... What a lovely restaurant, service, food and staff wonderful. The tapas dishes are great, try the Gin & Tonic it was the best one I have ever had and really large. Wish we had found this restaurant earlier on in our stay. Prices very reasonable as well and the Patron very amiable.

Our first steps in Barcelona took us to the thresh hold of Los Bellota. A lovely restaurant with a greeting of its front opening on to the sidewalk. Having no prior knowledge we plunged in and sat at a table in a nice atmosphere. We were treated to an effortless hospitality and endless smiles. Our questions were answered, in English... More

After a tour visit to the Sagrada Familia, our tour guide suggested that our group have lunch at Los Bellota. You would think that a restaurant would be happy to have 20+ guests to fill an otherwise empty dining room. We were first shuttled to another restaurant around the corner, and when they were full for lunch, we were brought... More
