Great for a liquid lunch, slice of pizza, Empernada. Burger restaurant attached next door. Great local atmosphere and has Barcelona football games on a tv in bar. (But not noisey) Great staff, friendly and helpful.

We found this place by accident and had a great time. The empanadas were outstanding as well as the frittata. We had a glasses of sangria with our meal and it was excellent. The service was excellent and the waiter was a delight. A great place for a quick bite.

The pizza tastes like the one you get in the supermarket, and the waiters were so busy that they mixed our orders and forgot our drinks.

Was so tempted by the window display of delicious-looking empanadas- and they tasted as lovely as they looked. I had a caprese flavour! Definitely a great place for a snack.

Pouring rain so we decided to eat close to our hotel. The young man at the desk recommended the place. Glad we tried it. Nice sangria offering..very authentic. Nachos and empanadas were very good. Service was efficient and friendly. Reasonable prices. They offer full bar service as well.

I was happy to find some chicken fingers, they were in a tasty batter and accompanied my apple, pear, mint juice well. My husband has mozzella, jalapeño balls also delicious.

I've been eating at Mucci's since shortly after they opened. The girl who has been there since they opened, welcomes me with a smile; it's been all these years and I still don't know her name. It's like knowing how to go to places here in BCN without knowing what street or number. You just "know it." I'm not a... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
