If you want the best steak at the best price then go here. The only problem is the steak is too large to finish. Beautifully cooked and the creamed potatoes were gorgeous too. Lovely informal atmosphere. I would suggest booking as I think word is out about how good this place is

This place is amazing, it certainly doesn't look it from the outside, but their steak is really the best steak you'll ever have. Prices isn't too expensive for Barcelona either, and for what you get, it's absolutely worth it.

I'd definitely recommend this place if you're down in Barceloneta and fancy some meat! The mixed grill was tremendous.

Absolutely fantastic place. Both our steaks were delicious. Don't go if you don't like meat, if you do it is a must when in Barcelona.

A very busy and local sort of place so we thought we would give it a go. It could do with a lick of paint, bit of a dive inside I won't lie.... but the cheap food made up for it.... can't really argue with the food, it's good. They did warm a lot of stuff up in microwaves which... More

There may be better meat elsewhere but you can not beat the prices here. The food is also great. If you are looking for a good casual meal come here. It is nice.

I've been here a few times for lunch. Each time I had a sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection and of excellent quality. You can choose from a selection of sides - I always go for the creamy potatoes which are to die for. The service is efficient, perhaps not the friendliest. I've never had to wait to get... More

Touristic spot but not touristic atmosphere. You can see a lot of locals and a lot of regulars. The quality of the meat is amazing and the value for money is amazing. In the hectic hours the griller may be not very careful so make sure that you appear to be a little strict when you order

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
