I went twice the same week, once alone and the second time with my wife and our grown son. Had the same thing both times: the traditional chocolate cup with churros. Once i tried the churros without sugar the next i had it with. Small..., simple, down to earth family run shop that can attract cues on certain times/days because sitting area is limited. Recommended.More

Blink and you’ll miss it. Small churros shop run but what seems like a family who have been there for years. Churros with chocolate - €3.80.six sticks of freshly made churros (watched the owner churn them out) with a cup of thick Italian style chocolate....Somehow the chocolate wasn’t seeet at all and the churros not oily. Delicious!!!More

This is a brilliant little spot. It feels as though the decor has not been upgraded for many years, but crucially the churros were absolutely fantastic and very reasonable priced (EUR 4). The chocolate sauce served with them was incredibly thick and rich and there...was plenty left to drink as a decadent hot chocolate after finishing the churros.More

One of the oldest churos places. A warm place with a family atmosphere. Classic churos with delicious chocolate. Thank you and I recommend.

Just really good churros and chocolate. We keep going back, because it’s in a direct line between our hotel and everywhere we want to go, and because it’s all my 11 year old talks about. She hates museums, old buildings, public art and tapas, but...the churros here have saved Barcelona as an experience. Maybe next time we will try the porras (a sort of chunkier and more shapeless churros) but then again, maybe not. Also, really inexpensive and fun to watch them being made fresh in front of you.More

We went to this place because of the exellent reviews. The churros were good enough (nothing spectacular) but the place wasn't very pleasant place to eat. Overall, we could have had similar quality churros in many other cafes with nicer athmosphere.

Best churros. No question. These were the best we’ve ever tasted, almost sweet with a dash of salt with perfect crispness. We had a wheelchair and the tiny store had a small step, they brought them out to us. So good we went back again.

My wife spent a few days in Barcelona before our Mediterranean cruise were staying at the H10 Madison. We went out for a walk to find some breakfast and this place was just across the street. We enjoyed had a “light breakfast” of churros with...chocolate dipping sauce that we got to go and sat outside in a courtyard enjoying them. So good!More

Freshly fried churros dipped in chocolate for 3.80 euros. Bargain price for such amazing churros. Chocolate is excellent consistency and perfect sweetness. Also has café con leche, porras (donut), and bolsa cortezas (bag of pork rinds). Small amount of counter seating. Family run and friendly....Opens early at 8AM (compared to other breakfast places). Definitely will satisfy your churro cravings.More

This place pleasantly surprised us! it's a small hole in the wall, mom and pop kind pf place, one that we would bypass if our friend who is local did not recommend it. We tried their churros and hot chocolate and we are so glad...we did. the chocolate was to die for! it was sooo good if you like thick chocolate drink. and the best part is, it was so inexpensive! no wonder a lot of the locals go there. not too many seats available. There is only a long counter with a few benches and it could get tight. But you wont regret it.More

The churros here were very flavorful on their own. They sprinkled sugar on them which made them even better. The chocolate was the perfect consistency and very flavorful. This is a popular place so, it is always full. The service is friendly and helpful.

Simple place. All focus is on their main attraction: Churros! And they’re good! Thin tasty crispy, with chocolate or as I prefer with sugar and cinnamon. Not to mention the dedicated cute old couple who make them. You can taste their passion. If you’re looking...for great churros, go here!More

My favorite place for churros and hot chocolate, and we tried many places whilst in Barcelona. The churros and porras are freshly fried and delicious to dunk in hot chocolate or coffee. The menu is small, but you can tell it's the place locals come...to get an inexpensive churro and hot chocolate. Definitely order the hot chocolate to dip your churros or porras into as it is rich, thick, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The staff tells me it's a secret mix of 3 types of chocolate. This style of churros are thinner, shorter, crispy, and do not have cinnamon. Porras are a bit thicker and have a fluffier/doughier interior. The staff may not have the best English, so here's a couple of things to know. 1) after you order your churro or porras, they'll ask you if you want to eat there or take away and if you want sugar on top (say yes). 2) the menu is written in Spanish and Catalan with a sprinkling of English so don't worry--chocolate con churros=xocolata amb xurros.More
