We stumbled upon this historic little "cave in the wall" within the Barri Gotic, and waited to be seated in one of the most enchanting little restaurants in Spain. The atmosphere is warm and enticing, the staff exceptionally welcoming, and the vegan food (I'm a...More

Our hosts recommended Slaterio when we asked where we could eat something good that was not tapas. We went to the place and had their vegetarian flatbread (sardo) and loved it so much we went back a few days later for more. A plate is...More

Vibrant atmosphere with amazing food. The line to get a seat is long and I suggest ordering quickly but it’s all worth it.

A chance search on g-maps turned up this gem in a quiet alley near Plaza Sant Jaume. The space is tiny - 11 tables - with everything cooked behind the bar. The menu offers several sardo options (kind of a quesadilla cooked in a panini...More

Super cute, eclectic and cozy! This tiny venue draws you in from the street with its funky vibe. We had Turkish coffee and wine and olives. The coffee was delicious, but the wine was disappointing; the olives were great. The service unfortunately was not great.

This is a special place to sit for a while whilst amazing freshly made Morroccon vegetarian food is created just for your order. The food was well worth the wait and we even rang a friend to join us as we'd clearly over-ordered. Prices are...More

As mentioned this is a small restaurant operated by a husband wife team(?). Wonderful location in the heart of Barrio Gotico. some of the best food I had during a two week time period in Spain.

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this
picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of
Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days
under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War
with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and
authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be
thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas
brought to life by the many small bars and local

I don't know specifically, but it is a tiny place. Probably won't seat more than a dozen or so folks.
