Although modern and clean, the place looks more like a big cafeteria than a proper restaurant. The choice of music consists of rackety boom music, but it ain't loud enough to interfere with conversation or affect your judgement. The food ain't bad, nor is it remarkable. Service is slow but friendly, or friendly but slow. Their cava is a NO-NO.

We ate here as a family of 5 on 3 occasions as it was close to our appt, we probably wouldn't have found it otherwise to be honest. The breakfast was simply coffee and churos which was fine and the 2 evening meals we enjoyed as a family. Staff were friendly to the children, helpful and spoke a little English.... More

Just up the road from my Spanish school I discovered Tamara, at first for a drink one evening and then for lunch later on in the week. Both times were wonderful as the service was super and the food and drinks exceptionally good for the price-quality ratio. I reckon this has got to be one of the best places in... More

I am very shocked that this restaurant only has 3 stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and the service from the staff was top notch. We were a little surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant but it was a Thursday. Would definitely recommend!

Tamara is a very nice and cozy restaurant. The food is vert delicious and I don't know, why it only has 3 stars. I would absolutley recommend Tamara! We ate there twice in our one-week-barcelona trip because it was that good. Food I would specificly recommend: Tapas, Paella, entrecote and beef.

I payed around 24 euros for dinner all alcohol and food included with the classmates. The quality of the food was not bad, the service was friendly, just the quantity of food was not enought, also we weren't able to have included beer instead of wine. At the end, I want to specify it was friday midnight, they boss suggested... More

Tried this spot for an early supper so was not very busy. Service was quick and friendly and food was reasonably good.

Will recommend to have separate dishes! We had too much food because the whole menu it was too much! It's a casual restaurant good for couples :)

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
