We were recommended this place by friends, but were really disappointed. Quite sour atmosphere from the second we walked through the door, almost as if we intruded in some place we shouldn't be. Questions were answered with a mumbled before the uninterested waiter turned his...More

The front of the restaurant hides the gem inside. Excellent food and wine. Even our teenage sons were very impressed with the food. The mushroom salad with wasabi was particularly interesting and delicious. The service was helpful, especially since we did not speak Spanish.

Very busy and noisy but food is excellent. Sadly only found this restaurant on our last night of the holiday. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Barcelona.

After a long walk, we were heading back to our hotel and decided to stop for lunch. We found this place on TripAdvisor in the area by chance and I'm so glad we did! I was a bit unsure what to expect but when we...More

Great food but popular so hard to get a table which we secured for an hour but we felt pushed to order drinks & food & to depart.

Was lucky to get a spot at the bar because I was solo!! Squid ink croquette was delicious, as was the crispy oxtail and foie gras. Also had the squid bombs which were more potato than squid, but still tasty. Friendly staff, great location.

The food wasn't that good, and was very small for the price.. Waiters were not nice. You can definitively find a better place in Barcelona.

Refreshing food compared to Madrid. Staff were friendly enough and the decor is very cute. Will be back!

We enjoyed a variety of tapas that were a bit out of the ordinary. All were delicious, I think the selection varies from day to day. Great atmosphere, too. We came late in the evening, it was crowded but we had a reserved table.

Ate here by recommendation of a local. Ordered mainly from the daily menu, which featured a pork suckling taco and a smoked sardine tapa that were both excellent. We also tried the Catalan creme for dessert, which was delicious and highly recommended! We came early...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

I'd recommend it especially if you want a table or decent bar seats. We turned up without but we're very early so managed to find 2 unreserved bar stools.
