We were looking for somewhere to have a light meal for dinner and a glass of wine. La rosi was close to our hotel. The salads we had were very good and the wine was good and very inexpensive. Because we are from Canada we were there very early by Spanish time so we had the place to our selves.... More

Staying in the area and popped in for a quick meal after arriving in town. Ok, I speak little spanish, so I guess big disadvantage to getting any form of understanding of menu items. Only 2 other people in there, so it was not a matter of being too busy. So we both went with hamburgesa, which was barely passable.... More

We have been to this restaurant on several visits to Barcelona. The menu del dia is excellent value at around 12 euros for 3 courses including bread and wine! The tapas are amazingly delicious -try the jamon iberico -worth every centimo. Wines are good quality and are of a price range to suit every budget. All the waiters seem to... More

Restaurant was close to our apartment so we had several dinners there. Service was excellent each time. Place was cosy and full of local people enjoing their dinner. Food was good quality and tasty. Highly recommend this place.

We found this on our first day in Barcelona, when walking to the centre, about 10 minute walk from the hotel. And ate here on two other occaisions. We ate Tapas on two occaisions good size portions and very nice, the steak was lovely also. Good friendly service and good value for money.

This tapas bar was very close to our hotel, and we were in the mood for tapas on our first night in Barcelona. The food was tasty and the wine ok. The service was fun but not special. The bright lighting didnt mesh with my expectations of a more gothic or cozy cafe, but the ambience was fine. In short,... More

It's ok, lacks a little something that would make it good or great. It's just a normal place, nothing bad but nothing great either to find here. They are nice people. Don't expect anything great (which they could easily achieve with a little twist on the food). Definitely not in the top 30 of Barcelona restaurants as it stands now... More

Was a bit hesistant to try this place, but the previous tripadvisor reviews were good, and I wanted a tapas meal without having to sit at bar since I have two preschoolers. Good thing about this place is that it doesn't close for a siesta, so those who like to eat before 2030 have a place to dine. My wife... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
