I went with my brother at L'Arros. We both got seafood paella, but the fish was like frozen (a bit gummy) and the rice was a bit burnt. Sangria was decent. Location and service were good. Prices were quite high for the quality of the food. I'm sure it's possible to find something with a better quality.

Was here for Sunday brunch after a stroll by the nearby Barcelona beaches. The restaurant has a great outdoor seating area which was popular with the locals. I joined them to bask in the glorious winter sun. The food was good. I ordered a Jamon for starters and a medium-rare burger for my main course. Both were excellent!

After a long day walking around in Barceloneta we randomly chosethis reastaurant for paella. It seems we got really lucky as the paella was amazing - especially the seafood one, but the traditional Sevilla was very good too. We also ordered sangria. It was ok, but nothing extraordinary about it. The service was very good too. It's easy to pass... More

We had 3 different kinds of paellas (sea food, chicken and vegetarian) and all were very good. Great service and delicious food!

L'Arros was recommended to us by a local who had taken us on a food tour, and it did not disappoint. It was a great value compared to many of the places along the same strip. We at outside on a nice October night, and were so happy to find a place with individual paellas to accommodate various likes and... More

We'd walked all along the marina and didn't fancy the overpriced menu selections we'd read. After strolling through Barcelonetta we saw lots of locals going into this restaurant. This is what normally makes my mind up. For authenticity and great food when abroad 9 times out of 10 it's worked. Seated immediately the Staff were extremely polite and helpful, one... More

really liked the service and the paella - went to the newer location around the corner near the museum. we had the valencienne and seafood paellas. well priced and a great size. Edgar was amazing! Also, if you have allergies (gluten, dairy, etc - their menu is very clear what you can eat and can't.

Highly recommend this restaurant, it is right next to the port giving a great vibe. There was various options on the menus, and the food we had was delicious! Along side that, it was 3 courses for €15 - can't go wrong! We couldn't have asked for a better service with polite and friendly staff who look after you.

Very salty and over cooked. We came back to this area the following day and found there were much better alternatives especially closer to the beach.

Starting off with the nice location on an afternoon. Decent primero with the lentils and tomato salad. Delicious paella con pescado, but a bit salty. Would recommend it if in need of a cool-off along the barceloneta area.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
