Love their Iberian ham plank and suckling pig, tasted so good! Seafood menu from the restaurant next door (with the same owner) was bit too pricy. Just go for the meat, they are so yummy!

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel we were staying in and we were not to be disappointed. Vegetarians beware, this is a meat eating emporium! Ok, they had to switch the lights on for us at 7.30pm but we are British!! The plank of cured meats for starter and a combination of lamb cooked on charcoal and roast suckling... More

We had our anniversary dinner in this tavern this evening and ordered the roast suckling pig which came with mashed potato. The meat was succulent and came off the bone whilst the skin was crispy. Really delightful. As a side, we ordered the grilled vegetables as well and it came with a home made sauce. Unique as it is new... More

Since we had no luck to book a table on time at the busy “Botafumeiro”, we were routed to this restaurant who shares his cuisine with “Botafumeiro”. Located next door, it is apparently under the same management and the menus are similar and mentioning “Botafumeiro” ‘ name. We could witness the waiters bringing the food and plates from one to... Dear Lunelune, Thank you for your opinion, we are pleased to know that you did enjoy your visit to our restaurant. The cod served is Salted Codfish a very special dish from Galicia, the fish is covered with sea salt then sun-dried, before cooking we rehydrate it, that is why the texture is different than the fresh cod. Hope to... More

Went there for lunch. Authentic restaurant. Great food and wine with generous portions. Had a wonderful lunch. Quite dear, especially if you order seafood and wine. Well worth a visit.

I went to La Taberna del Cura with a sizeable group of colleagues. It is a homely, casual style and there was good tapas. The speciality is the roasted suckling pig which was served with mashed potato. The pork was perfectly cooked, soft and succulent. The wine list was broad and not all wines were that expensive. A good atmosphere... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
