I was glad I found this Mexican food place while in Barcelona. I really wanted to eat Mexican on 5 de Mayo. I ordered the pollo with mole which is really hard to get right and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the greatest but it was decently good considering the distance between the two countries. They also have a... More

Typical Mexican! Great food, great preparation. Not too spicy (considering spaniards don't really like hot) but spicy enough. Good product treatment. The restaurant itself is a bit normal low profile cafeteria-style. Service is very good, tho tje waitress gets lost in the dishes. But it's not really bad if theres no or little clients.

If you want a cheap so so meal it's ok as long as you haven't been to Mexico it will pass, but if you have been to Mexico you will be disappointed... It's a Tex Mex place

Humble, pretentious-free place where there's a wide range of options to choose from on the menu. Me and my friend went for the mexican bravas which were very nice as well as the cheesy dip they come with; and for the main we ordered the cochinita pibil which is one of this guys' specialities. All home-made, good and tasty. It... More

Rancid guacamol and a fake jar of Margarita with cheap ice and not even much lemon (not to mention tequilla). This really was a bad experience. We should have known better. Why would this bit the last available terrasse in Barcelona. I have to say we have had amazing mexican experience in BCN, and this was not only the worse... More

Just for fun we wanted to see how the Spanish do mexican food. What a let down. The enchiladas I ordered tastes like it came reheated from frozen. Wasn't the worst thing I ate during my trip, it was the tacos. The tacos were heated in a microwave and were just an outright insult; lack of flavor, dry meat, very... More

the burritos and tamales are great but the rest of the selection I could do without. Most of the food is microwaved, not good for the flavor of mexican food. If your in a rush and want a simple, good meal, this is it. But if you want a fresh plate, go elsewhere....the sauce is good too but probably canned...

It is nice place to visit not only if you are familiar with Mexican cuisine but also if it is your first time. The wide range of items in menu and all of them are reasonably priced. I tried enchiladas and beef burrito and can confirm they were very similar to what I had eaten in the USA where it... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
