Two biers 22€. Thieves thieves thieves. Avoid this restaurant on las rablas. Probably anyone on las rablas can steal tourists like them.

We just wanted a coffee. Not allowed. So we ordered a snack, not big enough. They upsold their dishes in a really pushy way and threatened to have us ejected if we did not spend more. I understand the economics of how many seats you have but a simple sign at the desk saying Minimum seating 20 Euros would have... More

We older Americans were walking La Rambla when we came to this sidewalk restaurant and saw two British ladies drinking huge orange-colored sangrias. They said they were delicious, so we plopped our tired old bodies down and ordered two. OMG - they were out of this world! We sat sipping on them for almost an hour, watching people walk by... More

Sangria in a very large glass was very good. The tapas were just ok. However, good service and a great spot to just sit and people watch.

We ate in about 12 tapas places while we were in Barcelona, and this place was our least favorite. Good location, but average food and service.

I'm eaten here several times over the past five years - lunch, dinner, snacks (tapas) have always been great. I prefer the bottled beers to the local staple, but they have a decent range of good wines, too. On my last visit, I enjoyed ham straight off the bone, with pan con tomate and hot potatoes with the correct amount... More

Sat outside at a table right on the thoroughfare and ordered a beer and a look at the menu. When the beer arrived, as I was alone, was asked to move to a back table. As there were very few tables occupied, and after this introduction I sat tight, drank my overpriced beer 10.45 Euros, and went elsewhere to eat.

Service here was just so-so. The food was ok, but nothing to get excited about. The waiter had more interest in getting people new people to sit down than making sure we had what we needed. Its a tough business, as it is competitive and they want to fill seats, but ultimately once they have someone in a seat they... More

I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews about this restaurant, because I had a terrific experience here. Located in the Gracia district of Barcelona, which is one of my favourite areas of the city, I stumbled across this restaurant randomly and dined alone. I ordered the paella mixta (€14.16) and it was one of the best paellas I've ever... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
