Had a sandwich with mango, turkey, rocket, soft cheese on a sweet roll. Maybe the best sandwich I have ever had!!! I will be back. Thanks Crusto.

On a visit to buy a loaf of bread to take away and to have a coffee at Crusto, our server Claudia Martin was particularly lovely and friendly. We returned 3 more times and had various breads (to take away), quiche, molten chocolate cake, and hot chocolate to drink. They were all are superb. Most certainly Claudia was part of... More

We sat here to rest while we were walking from casa Mila to Las Ramblas. Nice place to drink coffee.

This bake shop hand delivers ... Via bike ... Breads to Madrid's restaurants and also has a nice sized eating area where customers choose fresh pastries from behind a glass counter and are served with fresh juices and coffees. Don't miss this place ... Went 3 days of a 6 day visit and wish I could go back now!

This place was right around the corner from where we stayed, and it was perfect for a quick and tasty breakfast. We all really loved the croissants with ham and cheese inside. The pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky and wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place for a great breakfast on the go.

Wonderful start of the day. Lovely pastries, aromatic coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Couldn't resist going back for lunch. Really tasty sour dough base pizzetta. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stylish place. Were told has just been renovated and must say they hit the nail in the head! Not to be missed.

We were there after being recommended that it would be "the best bakery in Barcelona. Certainly, it isn't, it's a nice place with great ambience to have some really good and well made bread in company of friends. For me is too expensive for the quality of the bread (which is above average) and what you will value the most... More

If you are up early in Barcelona and looking for breakfast, the pickings can be slim. This place serves lovely breakfast pastry and breads and a fine cappuccino. Friendly service, too.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
