We had dinner here, the place is alright and the staff are very friendly. The food comes in big portions and we ordered more than we needed. The lady taking our order warned us but i wanted to try the duck. I loved their fried rise, i was looking for a good filling dish and the rise with the spicy... More

I can't even waste a lot of energy writing this review. The food was mediocre, as was the service. I have an innate distrust of restaurants whose menus feature pictures of their food, and this was certainly borne out. We all ordered items from the menu del dia, which was priced at a reasonable €9.50, but price alone is not... More

I went to this restaurant because of the recommendation of El Comidista. He picked it to TOP 10 of his favorite Chinese restaurants in Spain (!!!). Since another restaurant Nanit (which is one of my favorite places in Barcelona) was also mentioned there I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it was below the expectations. I am sorry to... This is a place I heard for a long time and never had the chance to taste it . They are famous for their star dish Olla de Si Chuan, but we didn´t order it as we saw that is a bit trolley of food and I thnik you must be a lot of people to eat that much, plus... More

This restaurant has been rated as one of the best Chinese in Barcelona, and it sure has great food, a diverse menu and very good prices! We had a nice meal, with entries, two main plates, soup and drinks for three for only 10 eu each and it was delicious! I highly recommend it!

You get it right away when go through the door - this is the kingdom of spicy. Serious stuff indeed. Food quality here is a priority, and you taste it. Waiting staff is professional and much more polite than the restaurants scattered along Ali Bei (Barcelona's Chinatown). Will surely call again.

I just finished my dinner at this restaurant and the food was good. You have a choice of a la carte or l'olla which basically is a pot with boiling water and oil where you cook your own food. From the menu the dishes vary from 6-11 euros, l'olla will cost you 21 euros but you get a lot of... More

"All you can eat" hotpot cost £24 per person. Honestly they provided a choices just in "so-so" but the hot pot soup is tasty, up to standard in Si Chuan style with spicy and different kinds of ingredients. However, I have to drink a lot of water after hotpot it made me quite thirsty. The services is kind and generous.... More

Dear chikwok, Thanks for coming! You're true. Soup is tasty, but many ingredients are not the more tasty you can eat. All the ingredients at the trolley are made for chinese and spanish costumers... We tried to mix as best as we can, due to give fresh vegetables. Next time, I recommend drin a Little bit of milk, in order... More

Be aware what you order. I ordered a traditional spicy fish which was well cooked with a tasty sauce but the fish was not so fresh. What a pity!!! The vegi dishes were good and fresh.

Dear Victoria, Thanks for coming! Fresh fish is forbbiden in Spain, in order to avoid Anisakis. You can buy fresh fish in specialized stores, but not in restaurants... Fesh fish is a 6000€ penalty. Specially in Barcelona, food inspectors are so hard with fresh fish. We try to dou our best dishes with our sauces. Also, vegetables comes from near... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
