My husband and I ate here on two occasions, both on the same day. We went for pintxos earlier in the day, then went for dinner later. Pintxos were okay, it's probably more that it is not really my thing, and I am particular about fish and food left in the open air - my N.A. particularities. I tried one... More

This restaurant offered a selection of beef ham, which we never had before. It is beef, but tastes like excellent ham, sausage, and pepperoni. We had a 2 plates with some nice Rioja. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

The food here is delicious. You enter the restaurant and ask the staff for a plate. If you want a beer or a glass of wine you can order it. The restaurant is usually very busy. Then go up to the counter and pick the foods you want to try. Be sure to save the toothpicks. When you are finished... More

Next to and behind the bar is the restaurant. Modern but warm interior. Nice service, good food at a reasonable price, though a bit towards the expensive side.

I wanted a steak, and I've heard that the Basque do the best steaks, so I went to this Basque restaurant in the Born district. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. A school group of Dutch high school students arrived while I was there, so I was happy to be sitting outside where it was quieter - inside looked... More

This was our 3rd trip to Barcelona and when we were there last time we discovered Sagardi in the Gothic district - on this trip we made sure we returned and it did not disappoint. Last time we had the chuleton de buey - a wonderful cut of meat only available for a certain part of the year. When we... More

After a long day of Barcelona this is certainly worth the visit. A nice glass of wine, great pinchos and pleasant but informal service. In a buzzy setting it's great to meet here with friends. Also good for diner.

A restaurant concept based on the traditional Basque taverns, spaces to share the country’s best ciders and wines with the best quality Basque cuisine. A concept composed of two options: a pintxos bar with more than 80 varieties, and the grill restaurant with meats and grilled fish as the main attraction.
