We went for an early dinner on a Friday night ans service was really professional, something unfortunately not that common in Barcelona, and thus I really appreciate it. Food was really good, meat just as we asked it. Note: I tend to distrust when proces are so high in the menu, and then they give a big discount. To the... More

The restaurant has a pretty extensive menu, ranging from fish to meat, salads and few traditional tapas. Everything has obviously its price, slightly priced compared to the average for these kind of restaurant, BUT then the waiter tells you that all dishes have a discount, minimum 40% and moslty 60%. Drinks have no discount and wines are quite overprized. The... More

Located closed to main tourist spots, namely Casa Batllo and La Pedrera, the restaurant provides Spanish fine dining experience. Food is very good and service is excellent.

We went here to have one big entrecôte or filet made from Argentina meat. What a great surprise, we started with typical tapas and it was amazing, again once I was surprised about the quality of tapas in each restaurant but this one impressed me. The meat was really wonderful also and so tender. Just a small negative point, the... More

Quiet place for eating a nice menu near Girona street and LA CONCEPCIO MARKET. Great wines and a lot of dishes to choose. Starters & main courses . Grilled meats are tasty. Inside space and tables for groups. Suitable for couples . It represents our local gastronomy for sure . #bestplanbcn ! :-)

Good food, good staff, a little above average prices. Huge salad portions, big meat dishes. I suppose most customers overlook the fish since the meat dishes are so inviting. Nevertheless, the dorada is exquisite. One could say that the dishes are in tune with the Paleo Diet. They also have a variety of good wines and homemade deserts. The only... More

Discovered this restaurant on a walkabout, looking for reasonably priced food, close to our apartment which was located on the Grand Via. Found what we were looking for on C/Girona. On the first night we settled for the set menu which comprised a starter, main and a glass of wine that cost 13 euros. Being impressed, we returned on the... More

With the increasing of the tourism in the last few years in Barcelona is difficult to find a restaurant in in the Eixample without overpay for a meal, but Al Punt has very good offers "a la carte" and also good menu (starter+main+ desert) options. The "Ojo the Bife" is a very good steak that I totally recommend. The service... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
