Delicious food. Definitely my favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurant in town. Karahi paneer is to die for!

It's cheap, €8.95 lunch menu, but that means nothing if the food's rubbish. I has daal. It wasn't cooked properly and was ridiculously salty. Couldn't finish it. Second time I've been. Though it was maybe just a one off the first time, but it wasn't.

Highly recommend this place. The portions are big, the menu is vast and the flavors are great. Getting a menu containing a starter, main dish and dessert is super affordable. I had a beef dish with the gravy being nice and thick. Their naans are of moderate size, but very tasty. The cheese naan was very tasty. The mango lassi... More

We usually do a search for highly rated restaurants when we travel, however, this time we took a chance...unfortunately we were both disappointed. The prices are good, the service was okay but the food was a real disappointment. The butter chicken was really salty, it was totally lacking the buttery and spicy goodness its know for, the other dishes were... More

I don't know whether the waiter was talking about people from Pakistan or the restaurant when he said this but either way, the food here is good. The Daal Makhni (lentils) and the Palik Panir (spinach) were tasty firsts, accompanied by naan. For seconds we had creamy Butter Chicken and and a mixed curry, which was not hot enough; next... Very good food, good service, a small place just off La Rambla, seems to be a big hit with the locals. We were the only foreigners in the house, except for the Indian waiters and cooks. (My apologies if they are from Pakistan...)

What a hidden gem, the food was great and is tremendous value. Hidden away this restaurant appears to be mainly for locals, and do they flock there meaning you will get a great meal. We tried it and really enjoyed the meal so will return when next in the area.

I was expecting good things from this place, given the reviews here, but I was greatly disappointed. I think the only good thing to say about it is that it is cheap. Small, scruffy, staff more interested watching the football on the TV. The wipe-clean plastic Christmas-themed tablecloths (in April) should have been a clue that this was not going... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
