The other two places were full the first night or didn't want to serve us just drinks so we ended up here. We came the second night too as it was such a great place to chill after our meal. They are friendly and accommodating. Then the street entertainers come and amuse you.

We had the aubergine lasagne; it was delicious! Friendly staff, decent wine... can't fault the place so far.

Quality/price was correct. The daily special was good, but not special. The best dish was the salad with tomato and búfalo cheese...quite tasty. Worth a visit if you're looking for a reasonably priced daily special.

My husband and I stopped here for a late dinner on the last night of our four day trip. Service was quick and the food was average. We ordered ham croquets, caprese salad, cheese selection, sausage in cider and chicken strips. Whilst the food was ok - it arrived VERY quickly, almost as if it was pre prepared. We wouldn't... This was some of the freshest and tastiest food we had in Barcelona. We stopped for lunch and had the €10 Menu of the day which included 3 courses and a drink, amazing value! The waitress was attentive and friendly, and the 3 courses were all delicious. Would definitely return for more.

I am pleasantly surprised! I ordered what was supposed to be a pasta dish and they gave me just the complete opposite. I understand everyone makes mistakes so I called a waitress over and explained the problem to her. Instead of asking if we would like anything else she rolled her eyes at us and said that, that was the... More

STAY AWAY!! We had toured the old city and wanted to sit down to eat lunch. After the worst and longest service the most disgusting lunch arrived. The Caesar salads and croquettes arrived. Everything was positively disgusting! When I said that the food wasn't as described the waitress rolled her eyes at me and continued to complain about me in... More

I went with my family. They have Good food. Excellent octopus. Other tapas, such as the "patatas bravas" should improve. Slow serving. Tapas size is small, so it us a bit expansive.

Located on a small town square, the location is optimal for enjoying the atmosphere in Barcelona. Sadly the food here isn't on par with the location. Not bad, not good, just ordinary...

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
