Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic setting with Fantastic Food Chef Joaquin infuses the local sea food with flavor and aromas the combine the local flare with a taste of greatness. My favorite was the Octupus grilled over open fire and set over chick pea pure! The paprika, oil and...smoke combines with the umami flavors of the chick peas was phenomenalMore

We had breakfast here one morning and were so impressed we went back for lunch. Fast, friendly and efficient service, with absolutely delicious food. You can’t really ask for more. The atmosphere being in the centre of the bustling Boqueria Market is also first class....Highly recommended.More

Amazing spot inside La Boqueria Market to eat tapas. The space has a counter to eat with some chairs, where the customers can observe the kitchen and the preparation of the dishes. There are a lot of tapas to choose in the menu, the most...traditional included. It also has many options of eggs, main coute-se and desserts. The food is amazing as well as the service. The space is always full of people, as so it is expected that there will be some waiting time before it is possible to get a seat. It definitely worth it for the experience!More

First day I had the tripe. I realize it may not be for everyone but it was delicious. Today i had the typical spanish omelette and the cook put on a little show as to how to flip it. It was delicious and served on...crispy biguette.More

This place is not for the shy or faint of heart. To get a seat you have to stand behind some other diner and grab the seat the moment they leave. But it is so worth it. I have been to 3 star restaurants where...the food was way below this. It is absolutely fabulous food and ambience. 8 or so guys pull this together in the “cockpit “ all jovial and laughing. Don’t expect plastic gloves or masks. It’s all done with bare hands. Fine! It’s alive!More

One of the most famous “to go too” places in Barcelona. We were lucky to get space for 6 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the attentive service and quality food. Definitely try the signature squid with eggs. It’s a must visit place, you will...not be disappointed.More

We were recommended this bar by multiple guides and it was our first stop in Barcelona. We had baby squid with two fried eggs, roasted green peppers, artichoke chips, olives as well as two glasses of Cava. The wine was good and all of our...plates were very tasty. However, we paid total of €48 for our meal. This was largely because of the €20 baby squid and eggs, which was good but not worth the price. My advice to future diners - get a lot of smaller cheaper dishes and avoid the slightly more pricey options. Other than that, very tasty food.More

Came here after seeing this on Somebody Feed Phil, and did not disappoint! Best brunch ever, Eggs, Jamon, Potatos, Croquettes, washed down with Rosé, we ate like kings and couldnt recommend a trip here enough. Friendly staff and great food. Can’t wait to return.

This place serves very good food but I had two complaints about this place. Dishonest staff. They almost in every case, over charge you for things they either never serve. For example, we had ordered for salted anchovies but was served anchovies fillet but was...charged for salted anchovies which was twice the amount. Also, one couple sitting next to us was also charged for something which was not served to them. This is clearing done on purpose. Secondly, they almost in every case don’t serve you what you have ordered. However, the food they serve is very testy and that perhaps is the only reason they have a good clientele. However pls check your bills!More

In the middle of a fabulous vegetable, fruit, meat and fish market: come before 10 am to avoid the crowds, there even in late October. I did not find El Quim to worthy of the praise I'd heard about it. Was it worth 72euros for...the following? I did not think so but you might decide otherwise.1 Gazpacho; 1 Ensalada; 1 Huevos; 1 Chipirones; 1 HuvosJamon; 1 Costilla Cerdo iberico; 1 Jarra Cerveza. But at least they were served with a friendly smile.More

The tapas were very good, very tasty. We loved the gazpacho, the pimentos del Padron, the pan y tomato. The Iberic ham served was good but not worth 18 euros, because we saw that it was served from a supermarket package. All the rest was...very good.More

This is a popular tapas stall in La Boqueria. The service is friendly, fast and the food is delicious and fresh. For two, we had the ceviche (€20), octopus on 2 fried eggs (huevos chipirones) and prawns (without the shell) (gambas ajillo) washed down with...sangria. Perfect. Not inexpensive, however tasty and worthwhile.More

They did not have chicken on the menu when I visited. On the whole they are more well known for their seafood and eggs, but they do cook up a mean bbq pork rib though.
