If I could give negative stars, I would. The place looks like a flea market for bad lamps and ugly statuary. The food is atrocious. It was recommended to us by a friend of my 20 year old nephew. Once we were seated, it became...clear why. The place was full of international students with visiting parents taking out groups of kids. Turns out they offer a discount to students and waive the corkage fee. That appears to be 99% of their customer base. How bad is the food? The gnocchi was gummy, off-flavor and inedible. The risotto was worse. Bright white, it looked like instant rice with gummy cheese. It was so awful, we turned the plate upside down and started timing how long it would take to move. After a minute, we were laughing so hard we stopped the experiment. Other pasta dishes were also gummy with flavorless sauce. Canned hearts of palm salad. We didn't bother ordering dessert but saw it served to another table - looked like frozen cheesecake. There is so much great food in Barcelona; don't bother with this place.More

They charged us over 15$ for bread that they brought to us. They said we ordered it, yet the brought it to our tables without us ordering bread. No one asked for it, so we thought it was complementary. When we went to pay, they...would not budge with this price. If you go here do not take the bread.More

While in Barcelona my wife and I decided to have a good Italian dinner at Da Greco restaurant in the Gràcia neighborhood. We both had the 35 euro fixed priced dinner which was a great deal considering the atmosphere and quantity of food, wine and...tea. Some of the meal was 5 stars: mushroom ravioli, wine, Dorado, Tiramisu and bread. Some was 4 stars: tomato & mozzarella salad, beef and the small “clam” with angel hair pasta. Some was 3 stars: foie gras, noodles with capers & olives, and service. There was one 0 Star: Risotto with Parmesan. Overall, we were pleased, and would return and order the same meal again without the Risotto.More

Excellent food!!! Very warm and welcoming. We had a great meal. Everything was delicious!! To make things even better each entree you order you receive an extra plate to share with the table. Some highlights the the truffle sauce in the pasta and the risotto...was unbelievable. Everything was outstanding. The end of the meal the chef came out to introduce him self. Highly recommend if you are visiting Barcelona!More

After being recommended to visit Da Greco by a friend of mine who plays for Barcelona, I was expecting it to be fantastic and one of the best restaurants the city had to offer. I went there on Valentine’s Day and it was by far...the worst experience I have ever had. There was no booking confirmation or check that restaurants usually do prior to the booking. When we arrived we were then seated in a poorly decorated Valentine’s room. Due to us being in a couple, we were not allowed to order from the main menu (which again was strange). Instead we were forced to have a set menu. None of this we were made aware of until we arrived. Being allergic to cheese, was not catered for so if you have any dietary requirements, I would again suggest not going to this restaurant. I then made my dietary requirements known to the waitress, who then proceeded to replace my cheese dish... with another chess dish. And to top it off, the hostess at the door was extremely rude as we left the restaurant. Huge shame as the food is probably quite nice there, just the service and professionalism is nothing short of awful. Safe to say, it will not be a restaurant I will be revisiting and if you are reading this message, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want an Italian dinner in Barcelona. Cecconi’s is always a good option.More

The food at Da Greco is absolutely amazing. It is easily the best pasta I have eaten. Great flavor and was prepared wonderfully, I have gone twice and gotten the tortellini with cheese and spinach both times and loved it. However, the service is incredibly...poor. Both times I have gone, I have felt very rushed to eat quickly and leave. The wait staff makes it apparent they are trying to turn over your table. They came up numerous times trying to give us our check while we were still eating. If it weren’t for the quality of the food, I would not recommend this restaurant.More

We celebrated Christmas Eve here and it was excellent. Located near Casa Fuster just above Diagonal Avenue and Passage de Gracia, this restaurant came highly recommended for the best pasta in Barcelona. After our lunch, we could understand how this could be a favorite place...for the directors and players of the Futbol Club Barcelona.More

I visited this restaurant with my family during my stay in Barcelona based on a friend's recommendation. We came without a reservation and we were asked to wait for ten to fifteen minutes (we end up waiting for thirty minutes). A young couple came after...us without a reservation (they waited for less than five minutes) and I saw the guy speaking to a waitress on the side then the waitress escorted the couple inside even though we came before them and what makes this experience worse is that same waitress tried to get us to leave after the couple arrived to give them the priority by 'explaining' that it is better for us to order for take away instead of waiting for additional twenty minutes (after fifteen minutes of waiting). We finally sat in our table after thirty minutes of waiting. We were presented by bread before we order, then one of the waitress took our order. The food was average but plenty. I was surprised to find that I was charged for the bread which I did not order and usually presented as a complimentary appetizer. The overall experience was poor, I do not recommend this restaurant to tourists who look for excellent experience especially if they do not have a reservation.More

Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to
be an independent town until late into the 19th

the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole
different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many
international artists to this area, resulting in a
wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy
boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the
