Six weeks ago I had a wonderful meal in this little tapas restaurant. Well back in Barcelona I went there to celebrate a business deal. Ordered the fantastic squid with black rice that I had so much enjoyed. And been longing for to eat again....More

Maybe it was the National holiday, who knows but service was way off. We arrived and the place was maybe 60% occupied with three servers. First course and drink order went well after waiting a surprising amount of time. Gazpacho shots were outstanding and clam...More

The paella was 16 euros pp and it's a minimum of 2 persons. The rice was hard and the seafood langostinos were mini tini one's half empty. The muscles were microscopic and the octopus were an inch size all 2 of them. No other items...More

Not so sure about the substance! I thought it was time for a Vermut; which appeared to put them out a bit-could have done with a touch more ice. I like the idea of a gazpacho shot; this was good-probably didn't need the vermut! Of...More

We counted 18 fly bugs in the restaurant. Food was pretty okay (6 of 10), but we really struggled with the flies. Recommend flat bread with tomato and tomatoes from the garden.

The waitress was rude and when asking about the menu she kept on pointing us to the English menu. The portions are much smaller than their rivals few stores down and the its over priced for the food that they offer. I have visited many...More

We visit Somorrostro every time we're in Barcelona and it never lets us down. The quality of the food and wine is always excellent but what really amazes us is that there is always something new to excite us. This time it was the duck...More

This is much more than tapas, presentation, taste, everything is original. Ambiance is also very warm and friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. Congratulations to the staff for this great piece of art in the middle of this touristic area.

This f@#$ing restaurant is amazing. The food is very tasty and full of different flavours and it's all local.

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
