We had an early dinner in Xaica. 6:30pm is way too early to eat dinner in Spain. We ordered one compact menu to share. Ham and melon for starter, fish fillet with (untasted) vegetables for main and flan. It was interesting to make yourself understood without...More

We went there since from outside it looked like they knew what they were doing, plus the price looked fair. But as soon as they gave us our table they started giving us a really bad feeling about their restaurant. We ordered paella, a second...More

The petit Xaica is a joke , paella from can, frozen fries and escalope. The meat look like it's coming from the dog plate. Bad, very bad restaurant

Maybe the most authentic tapas, very tasty. Served without a trace of quality service, but who cares when the food served was top. If you expect quality environment, high quality service you've missed. Go for the food, delicious.

I honestly thought the arrogance and unfriendliness of the staff here was a joke and something that people visited this place for,but no its no joke. As for the food,it may be cheap but my meal consisting of a simple burger and chips was inedible!

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic
spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
