Looking for a lunch stop whilst visiting Segovia on a Sunday, we came across this restaurant with outside seating and commanding views of the City below. A quci order came in easy time, with a plate of patatas allioli as an aperativo The main food followed smartly and we were all surprised by the well filled plate. Apart from the... More

If your are looking for a good lunch then this is the place. The Menu Del Dia (Menu of the Day) is exceptional value for money. THREE courses - plus drink and coffee or ice cream €12. Food is well cooked and well presented. Service could have been better but on the terrace you have a really nice view

I have lived in Spain for twelve years, and love all food Spanish. Stopped in Segovia overnight popped into El DeSvan, tried the patatas brava not your normal tomato ketchup, nice picante salsa, then it was onto the Morcilla, blown away after 12 years of searching. Friendly staff generous portions.

We ate here more put of convenience than anything else. The food wasn't the best but the service was prompt, and the servings were large, the food was moorish, a little on the pricey side but to be expected considering it is in the middle of a tourist district. You can sit on the balcony for a view but they... More

We paid 25 euro for 2 drinks (which came with a tapas), a giant mixed salad and a pretty large share plate of meats and croquettes, with bread. The salad was absolutely enormous and delicious, just a basic Spanish ensalada with tuna and olives etc. the croquettes were delicious and the meat platter was tasty. Our waiter was happy enough... Very friendly cafe serving good food. We enjoyed the fixed price menu with wine at lunch time. Very obliging waiter who helped translate the menu and gave us coffee in place of dessert.

We stopped here for lunch because we were famished and impatient. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly, but he was fine. We each ordered a lunch salad that was drab at best. As we walked away after and saw how many other places were nearby, we kicked ourselves for stopping here.

Stopped in for lunch after a day of sightseeing. Restaurant was clean, the service was prompt, the food was good, and the view was spectactular! Definitely plan to return if I ever have the good fortune to be in Segovia again.

My wife and I stopped to have dessert and a drink at El DeSvan on a hot summer day in Segovia on our way from the Segovia Cathedral towards the Segovia Aqueduct. After the waiter took our order, he came back out and asked us to leave because we "did not order enough to eat." I said that it was... More
