Our impromptu group of hungry gringos descended upon La Cathedral unexpectedly. We were placed in a nice downstairs banquet room and guided thru the menu by the staff. Excellent wine and choices were served until we could eat no more ( was this a technique of the Inquisition?) A memorable evening, both for the culinary experience and the fellowship

For such a small medieval town the cathedral is unbelievable! Truly a testament to the faithful---don't miss it. And enjoy the narrow winding cobbled streets leading up to it. This little town is a treasure chest and I hated to leave after only one day of exploration.

Checked out this place earlier in the day looked a bit like a works canteen so passed by. Went back later that day and was pleasantly surprised. Downstairs seems to be the restaurant area but we stayed upstairs. We shared 3 tapas plates which was plenty for what we needed. Very reasonably priced. Waitress whipped our plates away a bit... Although the tapas were good the service was troubled. We got no help in English when we asked about the menu - that would have been acceptable except our server provided clear descriptions of the menu items in English to another table. The same server forgot to bring our wine and our water but another server pitched in when we... More

This restaurant has a dining room in the basement where people can share tapas in a relax atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and the food is good, but the portions are small. Although the tapas meal is for two (with five different tapas to share) these are small tapas. The house wine was excellent!

I was put off by the cafeteria style interior and went searching for another venue. Having struck out, walked a lot of hills we ventured back. So glad we did. The 5 tapas tasting menu was spectacular and an incredible value. We would eagerly return. It's the only restaurant in Spain that we've been to that would survive in my... More

As other reviewers commented, we ordered the two glasses of wine and five tapas. Very nice selection, excellent service, delicious wine. A good find! Only criticism would be the decor - just doesn't fit the area.

Menu looked appealing so gave it a go. Was only 7.30pm so early in spain, we were first customers but very soon anther eight people had entered restaurant. From their menu we ordered a cheese and nut salad, two beers and two main courses. They produced first a tuna salad! Then a cheese salad with no nuts and pathetic salad... More
