Ate here early one night and lucky to get an outside table, inside was noisy with all day drinking party. The staff were helpful. A good Canarian menu. Nothing innovative. The salad starter was exceptional. My fish was delicious. A good dining experience though they maybe relying on their historical reputation.

After arriving late, We headed out to find this lively little place down a side street. We had a small wait for a table but the service was pleasant and welcoming. Food was very traditional and offered a wide range of Spanish and Canarian dishes. Meals were well enough priced and paid around 60 euros for a three course between... More

This is the real deal - a busy, historic restaurant with a an excellent menu and excellent food. We went three times in the 6 days we were in town. Don't feel limited to the specials and full plate entrees, the smaller plates are a good size! Meatballs, tuna salad, eggplant and honey, and fiesta pork were delicious. Great wines... More

Love this place, and from what I have seen the locals love it as well, it was established in 1893. So they must have it figured out,

Loved this restaurant, great service, really good Canadian food. I have been coming to Santa Cruz for many years and I can't believe I never found this place. Book or turn ups early as it gets very busy and I can see why.

Went in this local restaurant with some friends who live in Tenerife. Delicious food!! Was very very busy and we had the wait for a table but it was worth it!!! Yes it's all a bit frantic as per other reviews but if you want traditional delicious Spanish food, this is the place to go!!! Highly recommended

In a small street with indoor or outdoor service. Great food derved by very observant staff. The shrimp and squid is highly recommended. Not all items on the menu are available.

Been here several times for lunch and dinner. Visited mainly by locals, in the evening usually crowded (take care of booking a table). Located in 2 storied living building that is why there is several small rooms, lots of peculiar interior pieces even one tabletop is made of old door, served fast, normal plates, but there is only menu in... After going to visit El Teide we made our way to Santa Cruz de Tenerife to pay it a visit and grab some traditional lunch. Hadn't planned this so we had done no research on where to eat. After walking past Plaza de España (with no water) we asked a policeman to recommend us a place to have lunch. The... More
