Visited 3 times so far on our holiday and plan to return. The service is just great. So friendly. Chef is excellent and accommodated our requests. My partner has had the steak 3 times and loves the quality of the meat and the caramelised onions....I’ve had something different every time. Pork and apples, cod and fish of the day. All excellent. Can’t wait to go back.More

This is an excellent place, with great food and a friendly welcome. A good choice on the menu and nice wines too. Reasonable prices as well. My wife and I visited on a recent stay in Puerto de la Cruz, and we’ll definitely be back...next time we’re there. A couple of things to be aware of - it’s not large so probably advisable to book. Also they don’t take credit cards so make sure you have enough cash.More

Excellent friendly service and every tapas presented was wonderful, especially fried cheese and garlic prawns. Best meal out in Tenerife! Recommend you book first.

Found this little spot via trip advisor and glad we did. Nibbled on croquettes and wrinkly potatoes over rose and beer. The croquettes were yummy and about 6 of them. The wrinkly spuds were tasty. We ordered bread and it didn't arrive but to be...honest we didn't need it. We then had the pork to share, the juice it was in and the apple compote was delicious. Was a lovely wee side street, and gorgeous home cooked home with such genuine friendly serve. Would definitely recommend to try. Substantial portions and very covid aware and safe.More

Superb food, friendly team, great ambiance. An accidental find and a true gem. Can’t recommend enough. Our food was well presented and we cleaned our plates.

This restaurant offers a really delicious and originally-presented Spanish recipes. Cool serving, great test and all of that at a reasonable price (attention, cash only). Nice outdoor seating in a green street, and pleasant service. Highly recommended.

If TA had more accurate markings this would be a 3.5. We really liked the salmon tartare that we shared to start, however the beef with the fried onions didn’t hit the mark at all. The steak was covered in caramelised onions which just spoilt...the taste of everything else. The steak was very chewy and we left most of it. Shame as it is run by a nice couple, but we wouldn’t come backMore

Found this little place purely by chance and what a find it was. Food was wonderful, fresh and extremely tasty. We asked the owner to recommend a good local red wine and he knows his stuff. Will make sure to visit this little gem again on...our next visit as it's the best food we have eaten in TenerifeMore

La Cocina is a unique restaurant located in a very central spot hidden away in a charming alley. The food is creative tapas and main courses with its own spin on everything. The food is delicious! I was brought the highest salad imaginable adapted to...my dietary restrictions that was excellent and my friend thoroughly enjoyed an excellent salmon tartar with guacamole as well. The flavours are a cut above the normal rate. Highly recommended!!!More
