The most amazing tasting menu! Service was amazing from the moment I walked in the door, a real intimate feeling with seeing the chefs plate up each dish. The 6 course surprise menu was such amazing value for money. Cannot recommend enough!

Our visit was a great dinner experience. We had the surprise dinner with some local vines by the glass. When you want to visit the restaurant put yourself on the waitlist

We came here in 2022 and were impressed with the our tasting menu - the potato egg dish and the dessert taco being highlights. However, returning in December 2023 we were blown away by the experience. First of all the service was exemplary. Both the...male and female server introduced each course and accompany wine perfectly and with passion - you could really tell they believed in the chef’s vision and the produce, but they also made us feel comfortable as well. While the food was excellent the previous time, on this occasion it was outstanding. And this was a feature throughout the menu. At times, food at this standard can attempt to be too subtle; here it felt perfectly balanced - with some fantastic flavour bombs. Particular highlights were the tuna, egg and pork dishes - not forgetting the wonderful bread and butter to begin with. The smoky petit fours were also amazing and beautifully presented. Each of the wines felt intelligently pared and again went wonderfully with each course. My husband and I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and would certainly return if we visited Puerto de la Cruz again!More

Sampled the tasting menu at El Taller de Seve Diaz and must say that it is the most magnificent VFM anywhere. Six dishes and two amuse bouche all of high quality food for ¢60. Just fabulous! The brócoli in different textures was so light and...tasteful my bouche was very amused! Also the Tomato Bomb which just explodes with flavour in the bouche! First starter was a lovely Grouper sashimi with sweet potato tiger milk and red onion. Well prepared, well presented and tasted splendid. Second starter was Dumplings of slow-cooked pork cheek with a salmorejo emulsion. Mmm! Next up was fillet of hake with a sauce of Beetroot and coconut with a cream emulsion of parsley and radish. Perfect. Then suckling pig with an emulsion of green beans and couscous. OMG! Two desserts, Rice Pudding of lemon and crumble ice cream with cinnamon and then chocolate textures. I’ve got to say that the “rice pudding” tasted like no rice pudding I have ever tasted! Finally a chocolate raspberry! Excellent service. Another lovely meal at Puerto’s best restaurant.More

What we liked: a small upscale restaurant with very friendly and welcoming personnel and atmosphere. We had an overall a pleasant evening. They took the allergies of one of our group very seriously and offered tasty alternative dishes for all but one dish. What we...liked slightly less: slightly overloaded dishes in terms of different textures, flavours and colours (they had a slight 2000‘s feel to them). Although we have informed the restaurant of the allergies at the time of booking (around 2 weeks in advance), they were not able to offer a diary free dessert so that one person of our group ended up having no dessert at all whilst the rest was eating, which was very disappointing. This person was however charged the same amount for the dinner: seeing that they had 5 instead of 6 courses, it was a bit surprising.More

We had a wonderful lunch here during our recent holiday. We ate a lot of good food during our time on Tenerife but our experience here was really exceptional. We had the 11 course menu and all of the dishes were sensational, really show casing...local ingredients and dishes in a really lovely relaxed setting. Great service as well from the small waiting team. A lot of the menu was seafood which we loved. Very interesting flavours and interesting combinations. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely return if we come back to Tenerife, would thoroughly recommend!More

A magical place where Seve creates all manner of delights. We had the surprise menu and the first aperitif made us laugh out loud with joy! If that sounds strange, just go and see for yourself. The following courses were all terrific. The key words...are quality, creativity and integrity. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and Seve himself is a wonderful man. He even recognised us when we saw him in the street the following day.More

Another wonderful evening with Seve! My wife and I opted for the ‘surprise’ menu and were not disappointed. We loved every course from the appetisers to the desserts. Imaginative cooking and great service - what more could you ask for?

We ate here several years ago, and could not get in last year at all. It is magnificent! We had the surprise menu, which is all made with local fresh produce. The courses were taster size, including fish, pork, lamb, beef, pasta, and surprising vegetables!...We almost begged not to be given another course. Everything was absolutely delicious and presented to perfection!! The service was also excellent, as was the recommended wine.More

This restaurant is a real highlight and since the first time I ate here I have never considered staying in Puerto without a table here secured! The food is modern and elegant and identifiably from the Canaries. The wines are interesting too and the exchange...with the staff about the pairings and exploring different ideas was thoroughly enjoyable. On the whole the service really must come in for specific praise. The service was professional, knowledgeable and efficient but still modern without even a hint of stuffiness. Yet again the experience was memorable and was a great highlight while on holiday and I look forward to returning.More

We went here for our anniversary dinner and had the long menu with wine pairing - this turned out to be a very good choice. Overall, the food was absolutely incredible with every single dish being perfectly executed and flavours balanced to perfection. The wines,...me and my girlfriend both agreed, were some of the best we’d ever had with one of the red wines being the best I’d ever had (really need to find out what it was called). The service was immaculate, couldn’t fault it at all. From start to finish, we were made the feel like the main event. If you’re in Puerto de la Cruz and enjoy your food, make sure you get this booked in! It’s an experience like no other and should be a highlight when travelling to the island. Chef Seve, please open a restaurant in London!!! You’d give everyone a run for their money! Overall, a great meal with an impeccable atmosphere. We will definitely be returning again once we are back on the island.More

This restaurant is a must to visit if you are in the north of Tenerife. Food: was amazing, we got a 11 course dinner that was so tastefully and surprising. The whole experience was topped with THE BEST service I ever had in the Canarias,...the staff was friendly and always had an eye on you for your needs. Sat down for the 20:00 dinner and left the restaurant at 23:30 and all the time the two waiters was at you service within a sec. The owner (Chef) was around after the dinner with an extra little surprise. This place is without No doubt the best restaurant experience you will get. I will go back home dreaming about this place for a long time. ,🙏More

Having seen all the excellent reviews of this restaurant, we were fortunate enough to get a table for dinner on our last night in Puerto de la Cruz - and how lucky we were! The food - we had the six course surprise menu -...was delicious and beautifully presented. We were recommended a local white wine which complemented the dishes perfectly. The service and overall ambience/experience really was fantastic. Overall, a great restaurant - and one that we hopefully get to experience again in the future.More

It was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere was cold and impersonal. Clearly not everyone in Spain speaks English well, if at all, but it just wasn't a comfortable atmosphere. We weren't even asked if we wanted another drink...for the entire 90 minutes we were there. The food was totally strange and just not appropriate for the high price (55€ per person). It tasted like cat food (cold pressed duck in tomato sauce) and also the calamari in cold coconut sauce made me feel uncomfortable. Scored with nice dishes, but that was really the only thing. Especially for vegetarians it’s a no go. As a main course to get half an avocado is also simply not enough for what we paid. In the end, I just wished I'd had fries or pizza. Good food can be so simple. Why be so complicated when you simply can't?More

Aroma is in the south of the island and puerto de la Cruz is in the north, I will say , it would take you an hour to drive down there, if you drive by the north speedway, If you take the south highway can take you two hours
